The hotel location is quite good. From your room, you can look over the old town scenery. If you look for the hotel in Google maps you will never find it. The location in the Google maps is wrong. The best way to get to the hotel is to give a taxi driver, the hotel phone number. If you go by public transport you must use the map in Trip.com. My room is a bit too small but I think this is because I booked low price rate. The cleanliness and the amenities are not excellent but acceptable. The staff service is excellent. The staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is in Chinese style, but I can eat it because I am Asian.

beautiful hotel, with an incredible view. the staff was also super. the only problem was the unsatisfactory breakfast, not up to the standard of a hotel like this. but apart from this problem, highly recommended. choose it!

The hotel is great, and the view from the common area is absolutely stunning. From the third floor, you can see the Jade Dragon Mountain and the entire Lijiang village. The room is clean, and the owner provided excellent recommendations and support. I forgot my phone charger, and they kept it for me. However, the hotel is quite far from the city center and is up a hill. I wouldn’t recommend it for elderly guests because the way back to the hotel is a steep uphill. But overall, it’s very excellent, and I recommend it!👍🏻💗

Great location. 5mins walk from drop off and 5mins to center of the old town. You can see the jade dragon mountain from the common area. The owner upgraded our room and recommended local tour to visit the jade dragon mountain.

Staff were extremely helpful with the tour arrangement during our stay. Without their help, we wouldn't have been able to secure our tickets to the tour spots at the last minute. Good location once you get used to the neighborhood and whereabouts of the area - easy access to the si fang jie and once you get there you are free to go wherever you want, easy access to the outside of the gucheng as well by the backdoor that leads you to the mi zhu lu. Will definitely recommend this place.

The hotel has a breathtaking view of the ancient town, thanks to its location on top of 狮子山. From here, you get a clear and stunning panorama of 丽江古城—a truly unique experience. However, the location also comes with a challenge: walking up and down the hillside can be quite tiring, especially after a long day of exploring. Be prepared for some steep climbs! Another downside is that the room is extremely cold, even with the heater on. If you’re visiting during colder months, bringing extra layers would be a good idea. Overall, it’s a great choice for the view, but consider the uphill walk and room temperature before booking.

Beautiful and cozy room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. The location was ideal and within the ancient city itself. Everything was a walking distance away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended

We had a pleasant stay and the host is so nice to make our stay comfortable. We even get free room upgrade! The location is nice cause it’s near everything but the location of the hotel is a bit high so it’s quite tiring to go up the stairs with babies. But overall, it was a nice experience, thank you!

The vacation home’s boss helped us with all our luggages all the way from the lion hill entrance, gave us a free room upgrade and served us hot tea and rose pastry on a chilly weather when we reached there at night. My boyfriend was experiencing a leg cramp that day, and he lent us the oilment spray. The vacation home has the best boss ever!! ❤️

I had the wonderful stay at Manty House. The host Eric was very friendly. He gave me the flower pastry and made tea for me. He spoke English very well and recommended me good places to visit in Lijiang.

Location is in the old town of Lijiang. Service is very awesome. You can booking one day trip to Jade Dragon or private group to another place at the hotel. You can see The jade dragon at the hotel.

The hotel was gorgeous and situated in the perfect location. It had excellent views of the old town and the rooms are very clean and had all the amenities we needed. In addition, Matthew was an excellent host , he gave us free soup, heated up our food, Let us shower after we checked out, and gave great advice for traveling in Lijiang. I highly recommend a stay here and would come back again!
