Ulasan Lake St Clair Lodge

The Lodge was conveniently located at the entrance of the National Park and accessible to lakeside walk where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The dinner and breakfast provided at the restaurant was great!!

有壁爐，熊熊大火讓下雨的聖克萊爾湖暖和了不少，我們四個人入住，隔音不是很好，如果你帶了足夠豐富的食物那這個酒店非常舒服。房間裏沒有Wi-Fi，衹能去很遠的前台才有。很漂亮的森林小木屋。有時間可以環湖徒步。

就是國家公園裡的小木屋，房間一進去很冷，要生火幾個小時後才暖，晚上卻又熱的無法入睡。廁所的暖燈是壞的，上廁所很冷。睡房在二樓，廁所在一樓額大門旁，有些不方便。水龍頭的水是黃的，放了很久還是黃的，並沒有提供瓶裝水。

環境很好，小木屋挺舒服

The accommodation is very good. Modern, clean and warm. Really liked our room which overlooked the lake. The staff are genuine and always wanting to assist. The food was good, and did meet the standard of what to expect in a remote location with limited experienced cooking staff. Loved the Trapper & Miggins dark ale - what a great taste that fits the location perfectly in winter. All up a fantastic experience and a great way to enjoy some luxury after completing the Overland Track journey.

We couldn't find any other places in the area to buy some lunch, so luckily for us we found this great place. We arrived at 2.10 pm hungry and thirsty and found their service to be FANTASTIC, they offer GREAT SERVICE and GREAT FOOD 👍, will definitely come back again with my many visitors.

We were only able to spend a night here but really enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant was a real treat! Exceeded our expectations, the food and service was exceptional. Cabin was very cosy and comfortable. Look forward to returning for longer next time!

Had a wonderful stay here as a family. Was a last minute booking so pleased the lodge was able to accommodate us. Just wish we’d had time to stay longer! The restaurant was incredible, not what I was expecting in this region quite honestly, but the food and service was impeccable. If you enjoy your rum, try the Trapper and Miggins Croghan rum, you won’t be disappointed!

The only aspect that saved our stay on a powered site at Lake St Clair Lodge was the stunning surroundings and scenery. From our arrival, the greeting I received at reception was unwelcoming to say the least, quite abrupt and officious, which was totally uncharacteristic of everywhere we have been previously in Tassie. The powered sites we found were extremely small and didn’t even have room to extend our awning without hitting the adjoining van. There was no phone reception or wifi anywhere in the camping area and the response I received when asking about it was very underwhelming. There was no provision for draining our grey water and were expected to drive out of the park to dump it. The dump point for our toilet canister was filthy dirt and no rinsing hose was provided at the site. Not that we had need to use it but the camp kitchen in our area of the park was totally neglected. Clearly the establishment’s interests are mainly with their cabin lodge guests and the camp ground is merely a sideline for them. Next time we will be stopping on the side of the road instead of paying for the use of these sites. In the end we cut our stay short by a day and moved on.

Comfortable bed, room was clean, beautiful walk. Scenery was nice people in the visitors were helpful. Restaurant struggled as not enough staff. Hamburger was beautiful chips cold as left under the warmer too long. Overall it was pretty good.

The accomodation is lovely and clean. The rooms are big and a comprehensive welcome pack is provided. The service at the bar and restaurant is good and the selection great. The breakfast was disapointing and the coffee not great. Checkin was challanging - the information provided was not accurate. However the staff are client centric and try to make ones stay as enjoyable as possible.

We stayed here as a group of 10 campers in the unpowered sites, having just completed the Overland Track. Pros - handy camp kitchen with running water, clean amenities, access to the lodge cafe for real coffee and an ice cream, very close easy walk from where the ferry across Lake St Clair docks. Con - campsites are not clearly marked. On arrival, we were advised that we definitely needed three sites for our group, rather than the two we had successfully booked for our group number, but as the sites are not marked I don't know how this was determined. But at that point I was too tired to argue about the extra cost. Entertainment - there are some seriously huge, confident possums! Very beautiful, very aware of what can be found in packs and tents!

The main person in the restaurant was the most kids unfriendly person imaginable. He did not know us to feed our baby her food just because it was ‘outside food’ even though all adults had placed a full order. Very unfriendly and rude to the core.
