Faletti's Hotel Lahore

Hi I am Naeem khan from United Kingdom first hotel give me room 113 there is washroom problem water drainage after that manager Chang my room 112 when I went bathroom toilet seat is not fixed agin I had a complaint no one is came resolve the problem agin I complain morning 9:30 still same then I went for breakfast when I come bake I see my room is opened 2 people is there I don’t know whet he do there after he said we are from house keeping but he had not any staff for house keeping I treadle mor then 76 countries I had a bad experience in my life

Of all the good hotels in Lahore's Garhi Shahu neighbourhood I went for the Faletti's because of its history going back to 1880. Renewed in style the traditional aesthetics were kept. Positively surprised, I especially liked the large executive room I had booked, more like a suite. It had all I needed and the king bed was comfortable. Not much of a view though, so curtains stayed closed all day, since the window was facing a nearby wall with barbed wire on top. There was space in the bathroom, but the only problem was the enormous showerhead, which forced one to put on a shower cap just to let the water come out. Also the glass door to the cubicle didn't close well, so the whole bathroom floor got completely wet after each shower. Room service by two young men was good, but annoying was the fact that two managers in suits knocked at the door - on different evenings - saying that they were in charge of cleaning the room, pushing for a tip at the same time. This was not in style with the hotel's standard, very much in contrast to the always friendly and helpful porters by the entrance. A good choice of items is to be had at the breakfast buffet, cooked and non-cooked, also several Pakistani newspapers in English are available. Unlike at breakfast time, in the late afternoons and evenings the restaurant filled up with local customers, so I regularly had my dinner in the room. There was plenty to chose from, but I always went for local food. There is outdoor seating available at a lawn, part of the hotel grounds, but nowhere to walk to outside the hotel.

There must have been snacks in the room and the entertainment systems should've the internet connection and wifi should be provided. Overall it was amazing. Hoping to come next time as well with my children too. There was nothing for children entertainment as well

Overcharged for meals not eaten, even though 3 days advance notice was given. Staff came into rooms regularly, interrupting and disruptive, ant times without knocking, asking directly for tips daily. Mosquitoes in room each night. Toiletries missing from beginning and never replenished. Could not get an iron for ironing. They hovered over me while I ironed my clothing and immediately took it back each night

Stayed for the nights of November 23, 24 and 25, 2023. I was told that this is a Heritage Hotel which is renovated in 2013. Hotel has impressive lobby and hallway. Restaurant is adjacent to the lobby and serves complementary breakfast. Buffett breakfast was good and had many dishes to choose from. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Service in restaurant and housekeeping was A class. The only issue is had with the room was that our room was close to their banquet halls and right from 7 am we can hear loud staff voices who are setting up or removing stuff. Furthermore when housekeeping, mini bar and maintenance are in the hallway they start talking to each other loudly which is very annoying. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 7 nights, with my wife, and we thoroughly enjoyed the history of this place and the hotel experience. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating, even though I hate the “tipping” mentality that is prevalent in Pakistan. This hotel will, definitely, be my “hotel of first choice” on out next visit to Lahore, God Willing.
