La Résidence des Indes

We spent 4 nights in La Rochelle and believe we couldn’t have picked a more enjoy place to stay. The suites are individually decorated on country themes. We had the Indes room which had large windows looking out onto the peaceful back garden. The room was comfortable and it and the bath have been updated. The location was central and ideal for exploring La Rochelle but quiet in the evening. The hosts of this B& B are wonderful folks more than happy to provide reservations to restaurant or give you a tour of the house with its museum quality artifacts.

A totally unique hotel, the hotel is a museum as well and it was lovely to have our breakfast amongst some interesting antiques, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for our host, would definitely recommend

You could not ask for a more unique and personal experience. Staying in a living museum and being treated like family, is something very special. All the restaurants and the ports are within a few minutes walk and the parking is a 10 minute walk.

We had a delightful stay at La Résidence des Indes. The accommodations were very nice and very centrally located. Beroze and Michel are wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay.

O local é absolutamente encantador, uma espécie de museu, com obras da Índia, com estátuas, tapeçarias, quadros etc. É possível tomar o café da manhã ou um chá da tarde apreciando as obras.

Une maison d'hôtes chargée de souvenirs avec une décoration personnalisée, tenue avec charme et hospitalité... très bonne situation et au calme. Une petite touche artisanale pour le petit déjeuner pourrait être la bienvenue.

L'accueil est très chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont de bons conseils et d'une grande gentillesse. Tres bien placé, nous avons pu faire un maximum de visites à pied.
