服務態度非常的好，每一個人都很友善，房間極具藝術簡約設計風格，地點雖然離每個站點都有一定的距離，但很安靜會讓你睡的很好，早餐也非常優秀，極力推薦

滿分好評，下次還來。旁邊是明治天皇行宮，離京都站步行十分鐘，鬧中取靜，非常舒服。每一位工作人員都十分熱情服務周到，房間乾淨一塵不染。十分滿意。早餐不錯可以一試。

受付の方が出かけるたびに席を立ちお辞儀していただきとても親切でよかったです。 ウェルカムデザートとラウンジの休憩スペースでティーやコーヒーが飲めたこと、電子レンジなどの設備も整っておりとってもよかったです！ 京都駅からのアクセスもとってもよく車での旅行だったのですが周辺のパーキングエリアも安くたすかりました！ とってもいいところだったのでぜひお勧めしたいです。

I stayed here the past couple of days on a trip with some of my friends from college. This was one of the cleanest, quietest hotels in an excellent location in Kyoto, just far enough from the train station to be nice and quiet, but close enough to make it an easy walk to get around the city. The staff all exceeded expectations based on my previous experience at similar hotels. Every detail of the room was excellent. The shower had great water pressure and no shortage of hot water. The beds were comfortable but not overly soft. It was just an amazing experience. I highly reccomend this as a place to stay for your future trips.

Every staff is warm welcome and good service and I want to very feel thankful three women and two men; Chisako Kimura, Haruka Kawasaki, Maho Matsuba, Ren Nagai, and Naoki Yoshikawa. All of staff served us as like living at home. The breakfast is fantastic and the room is very wonderful. All facility are very best product as Mikimoto and best easy to use all.

My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights & had the best time. The rooms here are beautiful with your own Japanese style garden view from bathe as well as bed & chairs. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the breakfast they made every morning (Kyoto style) was delicious. We really didn’t want to leave

This little, charming and wonderful hotel was an extraordinary experience. It has everything to be considered the best option always: location, cleaning, amazing comfortable bedroom, decoration inviting to peace and extraordinary service. I really enjoyed my stay. Hope they will keep on.

Kikokutei is such a lovely gem in Kyoto it makes me not want to leave. Everything about the hotel is simply perfect. Let me list out all the wonderful attributes of the place: 1. Design and amenities - The entire hotel is so beautifully and artistically designed with earthly colours that makes the place very relaxing. Amenities are top notch from the Uji Matcha from Tsujiri to the Mikimoto toiletries that keep your hair and skin nice and moist. 2. Location - It really is less than 10mins walk from JR Kyoto station and right next door to Shosei-En with its amazingly beautiful gardens. 3. Cleanliness - I’m extremely particular about cleanliness and I can say this hotel is really spotless. I came into the room once while housekeeping was still cleaning the bathroom and I can say that the lady scrubbed the floor cleaner than I do at my home. 4. Rooms - Each room has a different design but all are beautiful with a good layout that makes sense. 5. Staff - This must be the top factor of this hotel because the staff are all so helpful and go out of their way to make guests comfortable and assist with all requests. Though the hotel does not have many staff, you never ever find it hard to reach anyone. And you are always greeted with a warm smile whenever you leave or return, making it feel so homely. I would like to thank Ms DeCamp for helping me with all my requests (including running out to buy milk that I wanted) and I really enjoyed talking to her. In fact, every staff has been so wonderful but I do not know all their names. Also thanks to housekeeping for making me feel so comfortable with its level of cleanliness. So yes, despite having stayed at several Kyoto hotels including top brand names, Kikokutei will be my choice hotel whenever I’m back in Kyoto. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable and giving me a place like home to return to.
