Ulasan Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier

We had our wonderful 3 nights stay here with Solaria Nishitetsu in Kyoto. Each and every one at the front desk/ lobby area were all absolutely helpful. Hotel cleanliness is top-notch throughout. Location is excellent with Sanjo metro station merely a 5 minutes away. And to Gion/ Yasaka Shrine by foot is an interesting 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Special thanks to Takahashi San, she is warmth, patience and took triple extra miles to help us with virtually everything we asked - from restaurant recommendation to historical sights to transport to our next destination in Fijikawagunchiko. Bless her!

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier -- I marked this as my favrite hotel in Kyoto now -- the key point is: there are less noisy and annoying group guests in this hotel, and I do hope they will keep this status to attract quality people to stay with them. The reason I selected this hotel before my stay recently is: it is located on the bank of Kamo River, which is the best location for one to enjoy and appreciate Kyoto from the inner mind, and I enjoyed my morning jogging alongside the river, just in front of the hotel. Excellent location for all publish transportation means and one find many good restaraunts near by, and I love the simple and chic designs of the hotel and very friendly staffs, they are polite and helpful. And also, the room is spacious and facilities just enough for travellers! Picture no. 1 -- a look of the hotel from the other side of the river. Picture no. 2 -- the small lane next to the hotel, lots of places to eat. Picture no. 3 -- the view from the large window in the front desk, a real window for you to know what it looks like outside, it was snowing outside when I took the photo in the lobby !

Location: good location, just cross the bridge from Sanjo station take exit 7, note: it is stairs up walk 5 mins you will reach the hotel. Walkable to shijo shopping area, and to other attractions (Gion/Yasaka Shrine) Amenities: hotel lobby provide facial wash, lotion and miscellaneous for use.

The room is clean and nice. Location is smack right in the tourist spot. However, the room i was assigned to is noisy due to the traffic as there is a main traffic light and people talking walking by. They should have installed a noisy cancelling window. Also, do take note that if you self drive, the parking charges is 3000 yen per night which I find it ridiculous as the car park is owned by the hotel group.

Excellent location. 5min walk to Tozai line and Kintetsu line. 5 minutes walk to the interconnected shopping street. And 2 minutes walk to kamogawa. Perfect!

Easy check in/out process. Room is nice and clean. Nice walk along the river and minutes to the shopping streets.

Loved that the hotel is located right next to Shiyakusho-mae Station and a short stroll away from the scenic Kamo River. And, within walking distance to Pontocho and Gion. The rooms are fairly large and the baths very pretty with lush greenery outside the windows. Breakfast was superb. We'd just enjoyed an introduction to traditional Kyoto fare at a top-notch ryokan prior to our stay at Solaria. And we were thrilled to recognise similar local dishes with its distinctive tastes served at breakfast.

I like the public bath. And it is convenient to go to other attractions living here

Great hotel, really clean. Slightly small but pretty ok for Japan room size standards. Love the fact they have a small hot spring to soak in after a long walking day. It sits right on a street filled with eatery so you will not go hungry. But we love more that it’s away from the tourist traffic, and there’s a 24h supermarket just afew mins walk away so if we ever need a proper snack or drink, there’s this option aside from the already abundant convenient stores that are just footsteps away.

Very cozy and quiet room, good location with plenty of good restaurants and very close to the shopping district. I love to walk by the river in the morning. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel by the river. Staff are helpful and friendly. I like that they clean your room on alternate days instead of daily (which is a bit unnecessary). The only minor issue we had was that it’s a little close to the university hospital so occasionally we did hear sirens in the middle of the night.

quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from the city centre, still requires a good 10minutes walk into the city centre. Onsen at the hotel is a major bonus
