Very elegant historical hotel with rooms more like houses than just a hotel room. A hidden gem in Kyoto which can be classified as a national treasure. Service quality both in room dining and outside restaurants of extremely high standards. The historic Japanese zen gardens also very well maintained and kept. The entire hotel staff and managers very nice and professional as well. 6 star quality service as a whole.

There is a small courtyard on the hillside next to the Westin main building. The environment is good, the rooms are first-class, and the service is also very good. However, the room is small, the ceiling is not high enough, it is easy to bump your head, and the room layout is not good. It is difficult to walk into the bedroom.

Choosing a hotel during the peak season is a challenging task. I chose this place based on the overall credibility and value for money. The overall experience is good. It is not amazing, but it has some characteristics. The landscape design of the master is remarkable, and it is a good place to check in and take photos.

When we got to our room, it was even more exaggerated. She wouldn't let my two children talk! This is a suite, I don't understand why kids can't play in the room to express happiness and excitement? The introduction was always very robotic, and in the end, he actually accused my child of not putting his feet on the table. When the child heard that the sister didn't like him, he immediately hid, and the whole process was like a dean of discipline who kept scolding the child! This is the room I booked. It is my right to use it how I use it. How can I feel like I am living under someone else's roof? Finally, I couldn't help but politely argued with her, and rolled my eyes a few times. I want to ask what level of executive you are? Dare you treat your customers like this? Finally, I suppressed my anger and sent her away. I was so angry that I couldn't sleep all night. I have never felt so uncomfortable staying in a hotel! The next day her leader went to work. She was a very professional and attentive older lady wearing a kimono. Her service was very good. Only then did she realize that the last woman was a low-level employee responsible for cleaning and food delivery! It’s really a big deal! Fortunately, the people I contacted later were very polite and received meticulous care, but my mood was really deeply affected by this person on the first day! ! ! I regret not taking a picture of this person's name tag, but if you check with the hotel, you will definitely find it. It was a waiter in her 20s with bangs who received us on the first night. Finally, in fact, if you book a regular room for 1,000 a night, you can also visit Jiashui Garden. You don't have to pay ten times the price to make a big mistake, especially if you step on the thunder like me, the gain will outweigh the loss.

Kyoto Jiashuiyuan, a Japanese-style courtyard. Recommended twin room with Japanese-style living room, suitable for bringing extra beds with children. The area is clearly divided, the coffee break room, cloakroom, study, private bath, all separated by sliding doors, it feels very private! The private bath is invincible, highly recommended!

The breakfast was really poor. I didn't expect such an expensive price to be at the level of an average hotel!

I had to put the small heater in the living room into the bedroom and use a large bath towel as a windbreak😂, so ⛔️ A small reminder should not be suitable for winter stays.

An old waiter in the hotel was not very friendly to guests. The room I arranged for the first night was very small. Although the facilities in the room were good, the layout was unreasonable and it was not comfortable to stay in. I would like to give a 5-point praise to Ctrip. I told Ctrip that the room was too small and it was not the room in the picture I booked. Ctrip actively contacted the hotel and changed to a satisfactory room the next day. They also paid for the extra bed as compensation. After-sales service is still guaranteed.
