The accommodation was very good, very Kyoto-like, and very close to a twenty four h convenience store. The ground floor rooms required walking through a small open-air garden. The privacy was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and could communicate in English. One drawback was that some of the rooms had poor ventilation and no power outlets in the bathroom. Overall, however, it was a very good stay.

I think it is a good price for this location in Kyoto, but I expected to have a bathroom inside my room, as shown in the photo. But the toilet was public after all. There is a public sento around the corner. Nothing specific I would say. I've seen much better ryokans/hotels in Japan for a lower price. Still, it's good for 1-2 nights.

The room was clean, but there were things left by others in the shared bathroom. The toilet was ok. The place where I stayed was not in the same building as the check-in place. It took 5 minutes to walk. The staff was very friendly, but there were too many rules to follow before and during the stay. It was the first time that I had to pay for storing my luggage on the day of check-out.

The room is very clean, the quilt is very warm, the air conditioner has heating and cooling functions, and the sound insulation is really not very good. Check-in is a 5-minute walk away. Just take a photo and send it back when checking out. The smell of tatami is quite strong.

Convenient and close to the subway station. Higashi Honganji Temple is nearby. Just a short walk will take you to the lively places around Kyoto Station. I thought it was a very nice place. I stayed for 3 nights in a quiet Japanese-style room that felt like an annex. I was able to spend my time calmly. The staff's response was also polite and positive. He didn't answer the phone very often (lol) If I come to Kyoto again, I would like to use it again. thank you very much! The photo shows the alley from the station to the rest house. (Walking down the alley was so much fun!) Higashi Honganji Temple and Kyoto Tower can be seen along the way.

Don't be picky at this price, just clean and sanitary

Love this place! It’s a traditional tatami! And the location is also good! Except the sound insulation is not very good, I like it very much! The service of the little sister at the front desk is also very good! I will stay at their house next time~
