After getting turned away by 2 other parks in Kununurra Nat bent over backwards to accommodate our family of 5. After travelling 1000 kms for the day with small children this was very much appreciated. The cabin was immaculate and clean. The pool was lovely and refreshing and we were able to cook our evening meal saving us packing the kids into the car again to eat. The shower was lovely and after a great sleep we were back on the road to home (Darwin) early the next day. Thanks again for your hospitality Nat and Shane and family

We are travelling around Australia, and stayed in Kununurra for a 3 month contract. The Ivanhoe Village Resort welcomed us for the extended stay with our 5th Wheeler, provided a large, quiet site, and overall provided a hassle-free stay. A change of management team during our stay saw improvements that were tangible. Shane and Nat go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and valued, a simple step was to extend the pool hours, but they also hosted a BBQ general get-together. Overall, they demonstrate nothing is too much for them. Tours can be arranged with the Reception and most operators will collect you from the park. The park is quite large and has much shade, lovely grassed sites, good camp kitchens and amenities.

A very well kept tourist village plenty of space for caravan with trees for shade. Shower and toilet blocks a bit dated but very clean, water pressure great plenty of cubicles. Pool area just lovely and sail shaded. Close to town centre and tourist attractions. Peaceful spot highly recommend Ivanhoe Village Tourist Park

Comfy for the two nights we stayed, travelled from interstate so the Timezone was different, we arrived 2hours before check in as the time flipped back 1 1/2 hours and we were able to check in earlier than expected after contacting the resort about our dilemma. Friendly staff and good service. The park was quiet after 8pm and just perfect for us. We didn’t use the amenities. However one suggestion would be to have a designated fish cleaning/gutting area to save people using the inside sinks for this. As fish smells the whole place up

I booked the Deluxe cabin for one night on my way Broome to Darwin. The cabins are old and tired. Definitely not Deluxe in any way. I’d hate to see what the standard cabins are like. Pillows were very soft without any substance to them. Neighbours in the cabin 2 doors down boozed and partied till I was leaving at 5.30am. Kept me awake half the night. Would I stay again? No. There are better places.

One night stop in kununnara nat very friendly and welcoming Non powered site beautiful green shady spots with clean camp kitchen and clean amenities nearby. Just far enough from town center to have a very quiet sleep would stay here again..

So impressed with this place. The pool was one of the nicest pools we have swam in. The staff were super friendly, the amenities were a little old but nice and clean and the sites were nice and shady.

We last visited Kununurra 3 years ago. Delay was due to pandemic & border closures. We stayed at Ivanhoe caravan park & once again spent one week here. Booking having been made we arrived & were greeted in a friendly manner. Key to gate & on suite attached to site we proceeded to park our motorhome & set up. The park & surroundings were as clean and as tidy as it was on our previous visit. I needed gas bottle filled ‘ no problem staff said’ we will deliver it to your site for you. It is always comforting to receive that little bit extra service so cheerfully. A very clean& tidy establishment. I can highly recommend if you are visiting Kununurra.

We stayed in an older, comfortable, self contained deluxe cabin, which had plenty of room and comfy bed. We were on a tour and had no dealings with the management so can only comment on the cabin. The pool looked lovely and clean. The word "resort" is rather over the top as it's just a caravan park, but we found the cabin just fine. People need to remember they are in a remote area and things aren't going to be perfect.
