Old style with only one key. No lift Lake view good

We stayed in Towada Prince Hotel for 4 nights in early October in a lake-view room. The hotel itself is resort style with lots of open space and facing Lake Towada. The hot spa is good with one open air pool. The colours of the leaves have not yet changed so the views would be even better towards end of October and November. We stayed in hotel for dinner and the French dinner is rather nice. It would be better if there would be more variation in the menu for guests staying for more than 2 nights. Since we travelled to Aomori and Oirase a lot, the location of the hotel is good with about 45 minutes' drive to Oirase. Overall, we find our stay very pleasant and we enjoyed it a lot.

Towada Prince Hotel has an excellent environment and is worth a visit in a lifetime. Although the red leaves on the mountain have fallen after the beginning of winter, the maple leaves and ginkgo leaves in the hotel courtyard are still swaying in the wind, which is beautiful. In the open-air hot spring pool, you can enjoy the colorful autumn in the morning and count the stars in the sky at night. It is a priceless luxury. Perhaps it is unnecessary to remind you to follow the local customs, respect the culture of other countries, don't make loud noises, and say thank you after enjoying the service, which will win more respect. Of course, there are some cold and arrogant managers. At this time, "speak softly" politely, and he will "behave".

Located on the shores of Lake Towada, the scenery is beautiful and quiet, with red maples everywhere. Stayed for one night on November 13th and enjoyed the open-air bath. The next morning we watched the sunrise by the lake. Also go to Oirase River. Disadvantages: The sound insulation of the room is poor, and someone was singing in the corridor that day. The small refrigerator in the room would make noise repeatedly in the middle of the night.

The location is right next to Lake Towada. You must stay for two nights to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lakeside trail. Big recommendation! The only drawback was that the waiter at breakfast was a bit arrogant. An old hotel with an unbeatable location. The room facilities are old, but there is a lawn and lake view outside the window, and coffee beans and hand-brewed pots are provided. The breakfast and dinner tasted average, and the form was more important than the content. Overall, I am still willing to pay for this environment. I didn't book Hoshino, but Prince Hotel. The room is big in Japan, and the scenery is beautiful. However, the transportation is too inconvenient! The service is too arrogant! There is no public transportation to the hotel, except for self-driving and taxi (you can only make reservations with the hotel, there is no one outside, no cars passing by), there is only a fixed time to pick up guests to the JR bus station 5 kilometers away, and the JR takes more than an hour to get to the town with people. For the first time in Japan, I felt the service attitude of a state-owned hotel. I called the front desk to inquire about the time and location of the shuttle bus, and they said confidently that they didn't know English. There was no one outside the hotel, and there was no supermarket or restaurant after walking 1 or 2 kilometers. There was only one restaurant in the hotel, and the only choice for dinner was French food, or a set meal, which was expensive and the same every day. We booked a room for three nights, and finally called a taxi to Aomori Airport. When we arrived at the airport, we saw the supermarket and the food center, and we felt like we were back to the world.

This hotel is located on the west side of Lake Towada, 16 kilometers away from Lake Towada, the end point of the Oirase Gorge hiking trail. You need to consider transportation issues. Figure 4 is the hotel's shuttle bus for reference. The hotel's natural environment is very beautiful, next to Lake Towada, and you can see the wide lake.
