Beautiful small friendly hotel. The rooms are small but spotless clean fantastic air con balcony has everything you could want. Just one small thing the bathrooms again spotless but small i struggled to use loo but am not a skinny person and did not spoil my experience here. Breakfast was perfect for us no cook Breakfast option but boiled eggs toast cereal fruit and continental meat and cheese. The little snack bar has the most lovely girls working it and.oh my their food is great if you go get a burger.This hotel is perfectly set close to harbour and kos town walking distance

Really lovely family run hotel with the best staff and perfectly situated for a short walk into Kos town and old town. The rooms are basic but immaculately clean with towels and sheets pristine. The staff couldn’t do enough for us even when we accidentally lost our key (thanks to Maria for all her help). They all couldn’t have been nicer and it felt like we were really welcome. Food in the snack bar is reasonably priced and delicious and the pool area is spotless. Happy hour with Dimitri making the cocktails is great with Greek night on a Monday being well worth a try. We’d definitely re-visit and cannot wait to see the outcome of the re-furb. Thank you to all of you.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in the Poseidon Hotel/Apartments staying in room 302. The rooms are due to be refurbed this winter and are 1990s in style but everything and I mean everything is spotless from the crisp white sheets to the fluffy white towels changed every other day or daily. Rooms cleaned daily. Maids do an amazing job and create lovely animals out of towels. Free aircon and decent Wi-Fi. Room also has a full fridge, kettle and cups, hairdryer, good lighting and sockets beside mirrors, loads of storage and hangers. Shower cubicle is small but plenty of hot water and hairdryer. Furnished balcony. Lift. Pool area is small but never busy and there is bar service and food served up to 16:30. Again pool spotless. Greek barbecue night every Monday and and rock music every Friday both really excellent value. All entertainment stops around 11:00 so no noise for sleeping. Location is 5 mins to marina - go right to beach bars and go left to central Kos Town will loads of bars and restaurants enroute Where this hotel really stands out is its customer service and friendliness - Run by a Greek/Aussie family you are made to feel totally welcomed and taken care off. Your name is remembered and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely lovely people. Even printed my boarding passes FOC Just adjust yourself to Greek time and you will have a ball. Well here we go again, fifth year and as always not disappointed. Same friendly staff, well family really and we always find two weeks is not enough. Fantastic Greek night, band night on a Friday and happy hour where the lovely bartender makes fantastic cocktails. This year we had an apartment and I have to say very impressive. Great position for Kos Town and all its many attractions, the only downside is that we don’t want to go anywhere else.

Rules, rules, rules! Petty and rude staff with a manager who openly lies. Not a relaxing family holiday, avoid if you are English. Substandard rooms, with a shower you had to squeeze past the toilet to get in and a camp bed which was a metal frame with three sun lounger covers on as a mattress, as uncomfortable as it sounds!

This year was our fourth visit in as many years and as before the welcome and hospitality are second to none. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathroom is a bit on the small side but everything else is great. Greek night and band night are brilliant, the sea front and town are an easy walk away. There were plenty of sun beds and the snack bar and bar offer a great selection at very reasonable prices. We have already booked for June 2025 and know that we will get the warmest of welcome back x

It’s a friendly hotel in a good location but its very 1970s 1980s decor but I think it might be refurbished soon because the apartments have next door Kos is a buzzing town lots of restaurants and shops and a good vibe great boat trips to go on and nice beaches That’s all I have to say

Just back from Kos, stayed at the Poseidon apartments in Kos town. Very friendly family run hotel and apartments which were recently refurbished. It was lovely to have so much space but also everything you need for self catering. This hotel run by the Kappas family is a firm favourite as so many of their guests return year after year. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, always available and willing to help if a guest has any concerns. Nice atmosphere wish I could have stayed longer! Lots to do on Kos and at the hotel, bar busy and with Greek Night and live music during the week it was good holiday.

Our first visit to kos and one memorable week. All the staff at the Posiden hotel were very friendly and very attentive to all our needs. A big thank you to Connie for the first aid assistance after I tripped and hurt my ankle on the way back from the old town. The freeze spray did the trick! Big thank you to the bar staff who made myself and my partner feel at ease and relaxed ( Sorry but we forgot your names) We met lovely people who were staying at the same hotel and have been back to the same resort each year a testimony to how wonderful the staff and service are. We plan to go back next year and would absolutely recommend to all

This really is not the best hotel, the hotel rooms are very dated and small for a family of three. Air conditioning included but not great either. Overflow pipe from Air Con ran its stagnant water into the shower tray. Bathroom you couldn’t swing a cat in and the shower curtain when wet stuck to everything including the toilet. Fridge was rusty on the outside, unclean on the inside and the freezer compartment was full of ice as it had no door. 2 glasses and 2 cups for 3 people?!?! Roll out bed was a small camp bed with a mattress about 3 cm thick. Plaster sticking the cables down to the wall for the outside light. Cleaning? Need a lesson in how to use a mop and how to wipe down surfaces. Pool was a good size but loungers where broken and cleaning around it was terrible, fag butts, finger nails, dirty glasses etc the list could go on!! Do not book this hotel as a family holiday, you will be disappointed

The Hotel in on the edge of kos town there is about 15 minute walk in and about 5 minutes into open country, Ideal for us as we like too see both the interior of the Island and the Town. One of our pet hates is sunbeds/towel hogging and were pleased to see, as our room was over looking the pool, towels being removed if nobody was sat on them, GOOD on the management to actually carry this out. The room was cleaned and beds made ever day they do need a little TLC but tell me what hotel room doesn't. Staff were brilliant they couldn't do enough for us, in fact due to an issue brought on by myself they bent over backwards to help and succeeded we are very grateful. This is not the first time on Kos, but the first in walking distance into the town and yes we in joyed it very much especially at night so much going on, the whole place lights up around the harbours + the town. If you stay in this hotel or near by, try the food in The Land Of Olive its opposite the Poseidon. Would we go back to this Hotel again YOU BET they pride themselves in looking after their guests and they did.

We have been to the Poseidon a number of times over the years, we have always found the hotel clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, we usually stay in the apartments which were refurbished a couple of years ago to a very high standard. The location is good with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hotel has a very good selection for breakfast with a snack bar which opens following breakfast during the day. The hotel is very popular with a lot of guests who have been before some many times, There is a Greek night on Monday and other entertainment usually on Friday both very very good, Flight time from Gatwick is usually just under 4hours, we had as we have before had an amazing time and we will be back again, thank you very much Ange and the staff, exceptional definitely recommended Philsie

A wonderful family hotel only 15 mins walk from Kos town centre. Lovely friendly atmosphere created by owners and staff . The BBQ party night and music nights are not to be missed .The rooms are kept spotless and are very comfortable. We will definitely return
