La Boheme Bajo - Hostel

This hostel is really convenient with a nice layout. It looks better than the photos in real life and has very relaxed social atmosphere. Good place to meet people. Close to the main street for supermarkets and restaurants. Beware that they send one automated message when you first book it, even though *********** confirms your booking, if you dont respond to that message and show up after 5pm they will try to give away your room. I arrived at 6pm due to flight delay and was made to feel very unwelcome and greeted with a sour attitude saying that they had already given away my room. I just apologised and waited to see what would happen preparing to find a new place to stay. Then they belligerently gave me the room anyway but it all felt a bit hostile. Cash only.

This hostel is definitely on the social end. The free breakfasts and late night music were nice additions. The amenities are fairly basic as expected, such as cold showers. Though our air conditioning hardly functioned and we’d paid extra for a room with it. Additionally, the bunk beds had the smallest curtains that may as well have not existed with quite rickety top bunks. Loved the aesthetic and overall layout of the place and it’s located in a convenient spot. The staff were all very accommodating.

Booked komodo Island Tour. Should have included Manta Point. Boat didn't take us there, after lying that there haven't been any Rays for 2 weeks. Other guests showed us that there were alot when they went on several different occasions with other boats. After voicing my disappointment, they told us that the captain gave them an entirely different reason (the weather and the waves) and that thus seems to happen alot with the boat tours they're selling. But nothing mentioned beforehand ... even told us he didn't want to sell us the tour in the first place, but did so anyways and happily took our money. Very Very bad way to go! No compensation, no nothing ... not even a sorry. Also, constant power outages, cold showers and no power sockets or night lights in rooms. Wouldn't stay again.

In four weeks of travelling Flores this was the worst place we bin to! Beside the dirty and claustrophobic dorm room the staff at the reception was the opposite of friendly and helpful, half way the evening we made the choice to leave and get another place.

Great hostel in Labuan Bajo right on the waterfront. Lots of things within walking distance. Staff was the best! Super friendly and always willing to help or give advise. They can organise all sorts of tours for you so no need to book in advance. Rooms are clean, shared showers/toilet cleaned often too. Communal space was really cool with lots of space to sit and eat/drink plus upstairs a nice lounge area with big sofa and bean bags to chill out on. Would highly recommend as a budget option if you're visiting Komodo national park

We love the vibes, the staff and the place itself. We even came back for chit chat after not staying here (I stayed at Bajo for 10 days tho, moving from one place to another). The quality time you got from the staff is beyond you could imagine. The place has my own vibe, artsy and hippy we love it and above: GENUINE. Sopi (local alcohol) is available and I think it's the clean version rather than you buy it at a warung. One thing for sure heard that the France guys who's the owner is a bit idealist. Put more branding on your Instagram, etc. Your place is underrated and not people know it, you deserve more for sure.

Glad we found this place :) The hostel is cozy and homey. Cool location, the middle of the city, close to ATMs, local warungs etc. We took a private room for three nights, the room is simple but comfortable and has everything you need for a hostel. AC + fan, private bathroom (no hot water) with breakfast. The staff is super kind and warm. Arya, the manager, is the highlight of this place. Arranging scooter rent, airport transport, and the boat trip were easy and smooth (making sure we had our breakfast even for an early trip). He also gave us recommendations of places to visit and avoid. Careful though, if you're not a heavy sleeper, the hostel is between two mosques and the prayers will probably wake you up. The rooms are also close to the main area (restaurant and reception) so if you're not an early bird... Would recommend this place 100%.

Nous sommes passer par eux pour réserver une croisière de 3j/2n sur komodo. Le bateau n’était pas du tout celui des photos, chambres très salles avec une forte odeur de fioul. L’horreur! obligé de dormir avec ma femme et mon enfant de 12 ans sur le pont. Ils n’ont jamais voulu nous rembourser. C’est la faute des autres, mais pas la leur…. A fuir !!!

Endroit très sympathique, joli et atypique, par contre l'hostel est située à côté des mosquées ce qui n'est pas très dérangeant non plus mais à savoir si vous avez un sommeil fragile ! Situé à côté du port la vue est vraiment sympa pour le coucher du soleil ! Le manager aria est à l'écoute ainsi que le staff qui est très gentil et serviable . Le prix est très correct nous avons passé un très bon séjour
