A quaint bungalow kind of vibe to a more vibrant new age look, awesome food , as we were on our yearly visit to Mahalaxmi we were pure vegetarian but could see the full satisfaction on the faces of the guys on a carnivorous diet. Thanks Hotel Opal for serving us without any stress for the last 25 years I hope this love story continues for years to come."

"We stayed in the hotel for just one day yesterday and here are my experiences. Positive: 1) Wonderful architechture, 2) Beautiful ambieance, lawns, 3) Food is excellent. 4)The room is small but comfortable. Scope for improvement: Service could have been better and prompt. We called for someone to get our luggage during check out and no one really came. Also the pillows are too big for the comfortable night sleep. The sleeping pillows should soft but flatter and smaller. Overall : I can't think of a better budget hotel with the kind of ambience that it offers in Kolhapure."
