The Pavillion Hotel

Hotel Pavilion was a surprise find. After staying all over Kolhapur over the years enroute, we booked Hotel Pavilion after lots of positive reviews on net. The hotel is an old property, recently and aptly renovated. The rooms on ground floor are executive with sit out outside and in first floor are deluxe without sit out or balcony, the only main difference between rooms. They have two suites. Rooms are nicely decorated with all modern amenities like refrigerator and kettle. Ample of power points, free Wi-Fi, and nicely lighted. The furniture and furnishing was also good. Only the shower area was bit small. The hotel is located in vast ground of its own, catering to office blocks of offices of owners other industries and mainly to open and closed banquets (many) which is primarily the usp of them. As it is , we get vast open space in heart of city which is green and well laid. And therefore immense parking. Housekeeping was fast and good. The food was very good, service was efficient. Breakfast spread was ok. Service can be another usp of the hotel, good smiling faces and responsive action. Location is in heart of city, near railway station and bus stand. Definitely worth a stay
