Hotelnya bagus banget. Semoga bisa menginap lebih lama. Semuanya masih baru, fasilitasnya juga lengkap

Hotel baru yang bagus! Kamar besar, perabotan baru yang bersih, pipa ledeng, linen, dan handuk. Staf yang sopan dan membantu. Sarapannya luar biasa: banyak pilihan, semuanya enak dan indah. Kolam renang hotel bersih, berukuran cukup dan didekorasi dengan indah. Sangat merekomendasikan memilih opsi ini!

Hotel dibuka pada 15/08/24, kami check in pada 16/08. Kelebihan: tidak jauh dari laut, seprai dan handuk seputih salju, kamar besar, nyaman, banyak cahaya (siang hari dan listrik), sarapan normal (meskipun hanya semangka dan melon yang buah-buahan... tidak cukup untuk Thailand). Minusnya: pelayanan aneh - kami tiba jam 16.00, entah kenapa harus menunggu kamar yang belum siap. Pada malam hari tidak mungkin untuk tidur sampai jam tiga; musik di kafe-kafe tetangga terdengar sangat jelas di dalam kamar. Handuk hanya untuk kolam renang, bukan untuk pantai.

Heel basic hotel. Locatie was okey, maar niet de beste. De straat waar het leuk zou moeten zijn, was niet zo levendig als verwacht. We vroegen om een kamer waar je geen geluid van de straat zou horen. Maar dat was er niet. Ze kunnen dus beter iets doen voor geluidsisolatie (zal waarschijnlijk toch niet gebeuren). Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Kamer best schoon, maar heel sfeerloos ingericht (betonnen nachtkastjes?). Gelukkig wel heel ruim. Een plek om een tweede koffer te openen was zeer gewenst! Er is genoeg ruimte voor. Ook wc in badkamer voelde erg krapjes aan. Je kon nauwelijks je kont keren. Bed was niet comfortable, bestond uit twee delen en leek niet te ademen. Ondanks airco warm en vochtig. Niet lekker geslapen. Ontbijt was ook basic. Cocktails waren goed, zelfs een beetje persoonlijk gemaakt op verzoek. Heel aardig dat ze lokale snacks hadden op bepaalde momenten. Dus hier zeker van meegesnoept. Het personeel maakte het verblijf wel aangenamer. Let op: door vochtigheid en omliggende bomen enz. Wel last van muggen buiten. Wees er alert op.

It's a nice city hotel, located near main bar street. So if you are looking for a place where to chill after bars - it's a nice place. Rooms are spacious and modern. Rooms on the first floor has separate entrance. Breakfast starts at 06.30. there is brewed coffee from coffee machine. Nice pool, but it's closed by buildings, so soon there will be only midday. 7-11 and road to the beach on 5 minutes walk.

Nice clean modern hotel with friendly staff and close to all the nightlife... Only 5 minutes from the beach :)

We will be back for sure, the room nice and clean.

CENTARA life, Koh Samui, Lamai Gleich vorweg: Das Centara Life ist m. E. kein Urlaubshotel, eher ein Business-/Wochenendhotel … ich hatte mich auf ein CENTARA-Hotel gefreut, aber:  Nicht überall wo CENTARA drauf steht ist auch CENTARA drin … es ist irgendwie ein völlig neues Hotelkonzept, Positionierung zwischen „high class“ und „normal class“  … Zimmer dicht an dicht, Balkon einer neben dem anderen, getrennt mit einer dünnen Holzwand … 4 Stockwerke hoch … damit sehr viele Zimmer, die aber sind überraschend groß, sauber und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet … Ich habe ein Zimmer mit großzügigen Balkon … jetzt das ABER: die Aussicht hat nichts mit grüner Natur der Insel geschweige türkisfarbenen Wasser zu tun, ich blicke auf einen Parkplatz, einen großen Strommasten und auf die Dächer von unzähligen Häusern/Hütten … einige von denen wandeln sich abends zu lauten Sport-Bars und Kneipen um … lautes Gedröhne von nah und fern bis weit in die Nacht, nein - bis in den nächsten Morgen … abends sitze ich mit Oropax auf meinem Balkon und versuche zu lesen… trotzdem dröhnt es … im Restaurant des Hotels ist dagegen nichts los … nur gut, dass ich nicht auch noch die vom Reiseveranstalter angebotene Halbpension gebucht habe … der Swimmingpool - klein aber fein … 15 Liegen finden Platz … der tolle Strand von Lamai ist fussläufig in  10 Minuten erreicht.  Unterm Strich: das CENTARA life ist ein modernes Hotel, gehobene Ausstattung, große Zimmer und ich treffe auf ein durch und durch kompetentes Personal; die Umgebung ist sehr laut, ist schrill, lädt zu einem „Massage- und/oder Bier-Marathon“ ein - promenieren, gemütliches Laufen in der in nur ein paar Schritten entfernten Hauptstraße ist ab 19:00 nicht möglich - dicht gedrängter Verkehr inmitten lauter Musik-Bars, Souvenir-Shops und Thai-Restaurants …

I absolutely love this place—it feels like home. The room is spacious, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. While I’ve noticed some people complain about the breakfast variety, I think it’s perfectly fine. They offer an egg station, sausage, bread, cereal, Thai dishes with rice, a salad bar, fruit, juice, and more. Personally, I don’t eat much breakfast, so it works well for me. That said, if you’re expecting a grand breakfast spread, it might not fully meet your expectations. On top of that, they have a swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness center, which I really appreciate. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! ❤️

Location is almost at the end of Lamai Beach road and therefore it isn't much amenities there. The hotel did not provide shuttle although it was mentioned when we booked the hotel. Cleanliness, breakfast, and pool were all good. The only serious complain was the room we stayed have a faulty hot water shower, where the water was either too hot or not hot at all. It was a bad experience as we were forced to bath in cold water during our stay. We complained and someone came to have a look but it seems they don't understand the problem probably due to language. It would be good if the management seriously looking into this issue.

The location is very convenient, close to many restaurants, grocery stores. It’s a bit worn down already. Don’t expect it to be a “new” hotel. There were very noticeable stains on the beddings. The staffs replaced them. I have never seen anything like that in other hotels I stayed in Thailand.

It was an awesome staying , very friendly staff, helping in everything , trying to do the best , bright , clean and big rooms , delicious breakfast , we were staying there 20 days , and didn’t regret that we have chosen this hotel . Only one minus we can admit , that it’s a little bit noise from the outside at the night time .

Great location. Unfortunately the gym was out of service when I was there so couldn’t use it but nice pool. Breakfast was fine too. Would consider staying here again in future
