Mooi en schoon hotel op een prachtige lokatie. Zeer vriendelijk en goed personeel. De madam achter de balie, een soort Sybel uit Fawlty Towers, regelt alles zeer goed. Een aanrader. De mogelijkheden op koh mak zijn beperkt. Houdt daar rekening mee. Maximaak 2 dagen is genoeg

What a hidden gem! We have been to Koh Mak before and this is the best hotel we have been staying on. We stayed on the hotel on the other side of the street but it was terrible so we changed to Islanda and I wished we had boked Islanda in the first place. It’s clean, no insects in the room, very good food, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is really good and the view - the best view in Koh Mak!! The hotel looks newly renovated now after covid and I really hope they keep this standard! We had the room with pool view and then we upgraded to the room with both pool view and sea view which both was amazing. The location is also great, really close to everything but still very calm (no dogs etc). We are going home tomorrow but if we go back to Koh Mak this is definitely the hotel we will stay on!
