Das Service war perfekt, äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war alles sehr sauber und das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir die Klimaanlage sehr geschätzt.

The room was not bad but the service was very bad. In addition, 3 hours after check-out, I indicated that I had left something in the room (Apple accessory). At first they kindly assured me not to worry, they found it and sent it to me by post. the stay was actually ok . the furniture in the rooms was dated and overpowering. the receptionists were beyond useless. indifferent, struggled to actually do their job of checking in and out. completely incompetent. bar staff were lovely

on a 16 day trip w/ 8 hotels, this is my only bd review. Avoid Klagenfurt on Sundays. Everything shut down. A few cafes open for lunch, nothing for dinner, not even any locals walking around. We did our research and knew a lot was closed so we booked dinner at the hotel, they confirmed and even sent a reminder email the night before. We showed up for dinner and they told us the restaurant was closed. it clearly wasn't but when we asked they said they had a tour bus arrive and gave them the whole restaurant. We asked if they could fit a table for two and honor the reservation, they said no. The only other restaurant they said was serving dinner was a pizza place on the other side of town. We ended up walking in the rain to the gas station/store to get something to eat and it was filled with similar people looking for something to eat. the only sign of life we saw. Hotel wasn't awful. Old and tired and kind of dark & depressing (especially empty until the bus) but it was clean. Staff was awful. Never had a hotel do something that rude, ignore our reservation and send us out into the rain.

We stayed here and were very impressed. The room we had was large and very clean which is great when traveling with kids. The breakfast buffet, which is a little pricey, was delicious. Also the guest service provided by Sophia was amazing! We asked for recommendations for the day and she wrote out a list, in English, for us and provided amazing restaurant recommendations! She literally made our stay amazing!

I stayed for 2 nights for Ironman Austria. The hotel is right in the centre of town and a minute walk to the bus stops. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even offering to charge my watch at reception when I realised I’d forgotten my charger! Food was great, room was great. Absolutely no faults!

The genesis of this narrative traces back to an incident involving my girlfriend and myself, wherein we were compelled to vacate our lodgings in the dead of night due to an inability to charge our electronic devices. This predicament arose consequent to the deactivation of the main lighting apparatus, which, in turn, disabled the power outlets within the room. It is noteworthy that the sole instance of adept and affable intervention transpired under the auspices of the nocturnal receptionist, whose nomenclature, regrettably, eludes me. Swiftly, she orchestrated the provision of an alternative accommodation upon substantiating the issue. A nice hotel located in the center of Klagenfurt. The hotel itself was good, we had a nice room with enough space to leave our things. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean. The hairdryer was a little small but it worked well. Minibar was well stocked, we also had a Nespresso coffee machine in our room with four caps. Breakfast was very good with lot’s of options (chocolate fountain, salmon, scrambled eggs, etc etc) but 21€ p/P seems quite expensive so we just went once. Staff was very friendly at all times! The parking situation is a little odd, the hotel has no own parking place but there’s public garages around the hotel. Just make sure you choose the recommended ones from the hotel and pay the ticket at the front desk (the tariff is way cheaper! Parking fee for 48 hours hotel was 39€, parking garage fee was 66€!)

The hotel is fabulous and the staff were very helpful to accomodate for a group of sixteen people. They made all the effort to make our stay comfortable. Rooms were spacious and the hotel’s location is extremely accessible. I look forward to come back again.

Stayed there for one night. Location is very good and parking is 2 mins walk (might be hard with luggage). Check in was smooth with spacious lobby. Room was very nice, loved the layout of the TV infront of the bed. Spacious room and comfy. Lobby closes early at night with card access quiet hotel and reasonable price

We stayed in the Apartment Maisonette. Very nice and met our expectations. It has 2 bathrooms with toilets and sink, but only one bathroom also has a shower/tub and that bathroom is upstairs in the apartment. The main problem is with the parking. But parking in any city is hard. We had to walk about a block to get to the parking garage. And we didn’t understand how the parking worked. So the first day we tried to leave and the tickets didn’t work to let us out. The hotel was nice and helped us figure it out. We also left our parking ticket in the car and then when I tried to go to the car at night, I couldn’t get into the garage without the ticket. I wasn’t going anywhere and could wait to get items out of the car. So I was actually glad they had that safety feature. I believe the parking cost $15 Euros a night. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. It looked good, but at $21 Euros a person we thought that was too expensive. But we aren’t big breakfast eaters. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the car. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice farmers market by the garage entrance. We bought some nice pastries and strawberries for breakfast.

Centrally located near the main Platz, Sandwirth is a good hotel option, offering standard rooms and modern apartments. Our apartment- Belle Etage 1, was located in an adjacent building on the other side of the Benediktinermarkt. Beautifully appointed with a mix of old and new furniture and 2 extremely comfortable sofa beds in the large main living area, plenty of room for 3. The amenities lacked a little compared to the main hotel- small things like no shower caps and only one wine glass, but otherwise we had a very comfortable stay.
