We have previously stayed at the Laansdowne and loved it. This visit we were visiting for a prolonged period and had rented a townhouse. The Lansdowne was nearby and we had loved our visit previously. We were not to be disappointed. Yes, there’s a new owner, and it’s a plus- excellent service along with amazing food. We had many a carry out of the wonderful pastries and coffee at breakfast, delicious sandwiches at lunch and enjoyed lingering over dinner and the fire. Thank you for the great time!

Best location in Kenmare. Right in midst of shopping, pubs and restaurants! Lovely hotel with great restaurant, cozy bar and a tea room! Friendly Staff! No elevator but we managed that okay. Rooms were nice but very small and no air conditioning so was really warm. Second night we were provided a fan on request so was a little better.

We enjoyed out visit, as always. Wonderful home cooked Sunday Lunch. Including a delicious Eaton Mess. Very good service on the day. Love the Lansdowne, staff are great. Always helpful and accommodating…. I am a wheelchair customer…"I know I can rely on the Lansdowne”

Amazing hotel staff. Really nice place with accommodating staff. My kids even got cookies with their names on them! Great central location too. Hotel was able to accommodate our large family. Comfortable beds.Great morning breakfast too!

Fabulous from start to finish - beautiful room, super comfortable bed, excellent food in the restaurant and a great breakfast menu to choose from, super friendly staff- great location right in the heart of Kenmare, will definitely be back!

Excellent location, nice hotel with very helpful and welcoming staff. Room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast not included but priced fairly and very good. Would recommend the Landsdowne to anyone staying in the area. Will return.

The Landsdowne Hotel is gorgeous. It was wonderful to still have a bath in the tastefully de orated room. The location is so central to restaurants and pubs and the staff could not have been kinder and more helpful . We would definitely recommend this Hotel. Well done 👏

Beautiful building, full of history and character. Ideal location for exploring the town. Ample car parking. Food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. One slight downside, the room overlooked the flat roof of the kitchen area, on which was a large noisy extractor. Couldn't really open the window because of the noise. Not conducine to daytime rest.
