Ulasan Moon River Motor Inn

This hotel advertises a saltwater swimming pool, which was the main draw card for our kids. Upon arrival we were not updated about the swimming pool being unoperational. When I talked to staff they couldn't help, saying it's not working, but when I looked at it it seemed like it had been closed for weeks. I found this very unprofessional and disappointing. If we knew we wouldn't be booking the hotel.

The office was unmanned upon arrival and had to go looking for staff member. Advertised "free" internet not existent. Ate at restaurant and ordered sweet and sour king prawn fritters. The batter was too thick and not cooked through. Beds were ok but couldn't say they the most comfortable ive slept on. On the plus side water pressure and hot water excellent.

Comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful property, very accommodation owner. I left my iPad there and it was also returned to me!!! would stay again.

Friendly service a nice quiet location backing onto the Macleay River. Very clean with a great comfortable bed. Not sure about the Restaurant as in being opened or closed but did show an open sign as we were driving to another location. The Restaurant also had Christmas decorations on tables and a Christmas Tree. So somewhat confused

We only stayed one night as a passing through town. The family 2 rooms are quite reasonable in size. The cleanliness was reasonable except I needed to wipe off the side table from red gluey stuff. One of the tv did not work. The receptionist was not very friendly, and unable to advise for any nice restaurant in the area. For a passing through motel I would rate it 3 stars.

Great location and very nice and crisp bedding. The apartment overall was a bit 'tired and old' but served the purpose for a 1 night stay over just fine. I must say the river view at the back was beautiful.
