Blue Aegean Hotel & Suites

Well what can we say, had a fantastic time, room was nice number 14, with a terrace, opposite bar and pool. Food was really good, always found something tasty, loads of gluten-free options, more than I've experienced elsewhere! Bed was comfy, aircon a blessing! Loads of sun loungers around pool ! The main assett for this hotel is the staff ! Shout out to all the cleaners who work so hard, unsung heroes ! Also Eva, Maria and Georgio, the hotel wouldn't be the same without you ! Also Frank the night porter, lovely to chat with you! Stef and Marianne too ! You are all a credit to the Blue Aegean ! Thank you Georgio, who came to give us farewell cuddle when waiting on our transfer home ! It was like leaving family behind ! We had a ball at The Central Bar, with @jim Brown on the Mondays ! Also The Annfield Bar, where my husband could catch up with his football on TV ! We miss you ! Don't hesitate to book this hotel if you are looking for a laid back holiday 😎

Love this hotel. The food was so good and the staff (especially Maria) are so kind and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s close to the beach, bars and restaurants in Gouves but it’s a quiet place which I loved. The cocktails were delicious too.

Very good location, near the beach. The closest is pebble beach but sandy beach is close by too. In the nearby area you will find shops, restaurants, bars as well & the bus stop, from where you can get to neighboring towns & to the airport. The ambiance in the hotel is very pleasant, the food is great, the desserts in particular! Very friendly helpful and smiley staff.

Absolutely adore this place! we arrived early hours and Frank was there to greet us, he gave us a plate of cold food and a drink. The staff were amazing and so so friendly, if you needed anything they were more than happy to help. The bar staff especially Eva, Gostas, Stef and Yorgos were fantastic and always tried to make your experience personal, cracking jokes and getting to know everyone. They always had a smile on their face! We also met the owner who was absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The rooms were great, they were made up every day, fresh towels and bedding, they even put my little teddy up on the pillow neatly and set my pyjamas out on the bed! I thought this was lovely. Both pool areas were great, the main pool was where the families normally were, although the kids were all really well behaved and this was Never a problem, me and my boyfriend spent most of the time at this pool and loved it. There's a more private, quieter pool across the road which anyone can use but is really quiet and would be better for those who prefer to sit and read by the pool. There was plenty of sun beds and seating, people often reserved beds with towels, however they do have a policy on this so if you let the staff know that there hadn't been anyone there for a reasonable amount of time, they would sort it out for you. if you do struggle to get sun beds (this is really unlikely), the staff are happy to go get you some from the other pool area. The food was also amazing, me and my boyfriend really enjoyed. we found there was quite a variety of foods and always something you could eat. Even the chef would make the effort to speak to everyone and was also so friendly. They do great entertainment in the evenings and they get the kids up dancing too! It's also in a lovely location, just across the road from a beach, there's 3 supermarkets on the road, one just across the road from the hotel, there are also many restaurants around and places to book boat trips and days out etc. We did two boat trips and a water park and they were great! would really recommend the boat trip with the company yachters, 80 euro for a 6 hour trip on a yacht with 8 people, food and drinks included and snorkelling and swimming on two different beaches. (for couples)

My husband and I took our 4 month old here for a week in the sun with my mum and dad, cannot fault the hotel at all, the staff were lovely, the all inclusive food was the best I’ve had for all inclusive. We had a few issues with our room and my parents room at first which was very quickly resolved! Staff couldn’t me more friendly and helpful! We’ll never forget our boys first holiday in the sun at this lovely hotel!

Hotel was in a fairly quiet location with nothing much in the vicinity just a few bars and supermarkets being in October a few had closed for the winter Hotel is quite nice and the staff are friendly you get your room serviced daily That’s the good points but the food leaves a lot to be desired seems to be the same thing day after day it’s either cold or Luke warm even when it’s freshly put out ,one day every dish was curried so hard luck if you don’t like curry,also their is one small microwave and a two slice toaster Me and the wife both had stomach upsets could it be the food we will never know Don’t think we will return

My third time at the Blue Aegean and it never disappoints! Excellent rooms, beautiful food and brilliant staff and service. Cleanliness of the rooms is outstanding, with rooms cleaned every day. The food is fabulous, with enough choices for even the pickiest of eaters( which my partner is) and everything clearly marked with gluten and lactose content ( great for the lactose and gluten intolerant). The staff, from the cleaning staff up to the management, are all friendly, helpful and attentive and if you do have a problem, it is dealt with quickly and to your satisfaction. I have never had anything but a fantastic holiday at this family run hotel which is why I go back time and time again.

The Good - The selection of food is good and the staff are attentive to the customers. - The hotel grounds are kept in good order. - The rooms are airy and spacious with a good selection of kitchen cutlery, etc. - Highchairs for small children in the restaurant, paddling pool and water toys available for use. The Bad - There is no car park in this hotel. You have to park on narrow side roads. - The restaurant used for breakfast, lunch and dinner is too small and gets overcrowded very quickly. - The games room is in a state of disrepair. The pool table is broken and the fuseball table spat out a ping pong ball which it swallowed after 1 point. - There is no playground as advertised. It is a small space with a single slide. - Room cleaning is not thorough. It is quick brush over. - The noise in the adjoining apartments can be very sound intrusive. You can hear showering, toileting, footsteps, banging, etc at all hours of the night. - There is a single iron for the entire hotel. - The grounds are very small so no matter where you are, you will hear the sound of the sometimes every loud entertainment every night until around 11pm.

My husband and i have been here for a week can not fault this hotel at all the reception staff really help us out about hiring a mobility scooter for my husband the bar and restaurant staff are all friendly and helpful we were here for our wedding anniversary and was made really special with a beautiful fruit hamper my husband and I have both agreed that we would stay here again
