Our walk in the historical places around the hotel was very nice. In the evening, you can spend hours by the fire in the gardens by the river. The employees were very helpful and our conversations were very entertaining. I can't find words to say about breakfast, I will miss it so much.

A Haramulade hotel. It contains traces of history in every corner. Everyone from the bellboy to the waiter floor attendant to the security guard are doing their best to make you comfortable from the first time they see you. I stayed at this hotel for two nights during the 1st week of September 2022. The hotel is charming to say the least, the room was very comfortable and quiet, the internet connection was good. Their breakfast was delicious and of good quality and fresh items, especially the cheese, which is the specialty of the region. The staff were very nice and helpful, in particular Mr. Ahmet who speaks very good English as well. They have an outdoor area, which seems to be the THE attraction for romantic couples, where they come and enjoy the mix of sounds from the stream, the music, the birds, and enjoy a drink or a cup of tea and some pastries. Highly recommended.

Daha ilk adım attığımız andan itibaren ilgi, alaka çok güzeldi. Otelin temizliği harikaydı. Evimizde kalmış gibi hissettik hep . 2 gece bize az geldi. Kahvaltısı taze çok çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Çalışan her personele teşekkür ediyoruz. Ayrıca şehri gezmek için her sorumuzu sabırla guleryuzle cevaplayan resepsiyon arkadaşlara çok çok teşekkürler. İnşallah yine geleceğiz

My daughter and I took a mother-daughter trip to Eastern Turkey. I searched for a comfortable place with standards suitable for children to stay in and I am so thankful for choosing Hotel Katerina Sarayi. Though Van is a more popular tourist destination now thanks to the Dogu Expres train, it is still in Eastern Turkey - a part of the country that has been severely neglected. As such, it is important to choose your accommodations wisely. This hotel is an excellent choice and I would venture THE best choice. It is clean, comfortable,well-appointed, and small enough to still feel like a boutique hotel experience. It is a short walk next to the river to get to the center of the historical district. In fact, we could look up from our room and see the walls of the Kars fortress. We loved walking and, if you prefer, taxis are readily available at the hotel. The staff is so kind and was extremely helpful arranging transpiration to Ani for us - especially Ahmet at the front desk (who speaks English fluently - which can be a rarity in Turkey in general). After our 3 day tour of historical Armenian sites in the region, we were welcomed back like relatives. We had a lovely time chatting with staff members and guests, not to mention, my daughter loved playing in the grass with the hotel dogs into the night. Breakfast was tasty and the options were plentiful. This hotel will be our first choice when we definitely return with my husband on a future trip.

Sabahları yöresel lezzetlerle dolu kahvaltısı, güne harika bir başlangıç yapmanızı sağlıyor. Konforlu, tertemiz, sıcacık bir otel. Akşamları ateş başında müzik ve sıcak şarap eşliğinde eğlencenin tadını çıkardık. Çalışanların son derece güler yüzlü ve samimi yaklaşımı, kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettirdi.
