Ulasan Centro Hotel Blankenburg by INA

Location is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. There were multiple radiators at your disposal and tissue paper and bathroom paper. The single room was a good sized with a large window. Everything was clean. There was a place to store bicycles or indeed borrow those offered. Breakfast was available though I didn't try. There is also an elevator. Again...for the price paid it is deserving of 5/5.

Etwas älteres Hotel,aber okay. Im Zimmer offene Leitung von rausgerissen er Heizung(Zimmer 23), Sauna defekt! Wasserschaden im Frühstücksraum!

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag wegen eines Konzertes in Karlsruhe und hatten wenig Ansprüche an ein Hotel. Zunächst einmal das Gute: das Frühstück war gut und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Jedoch unser Zimmer war eine Zumutung: Schmierige Wände und eine durch Stockflecken verunstaltete Holzdecke. Das Bad war aber sauber & die Matratzen gut, daher sind wir geblieben, zumal die meisten Hotels ausgebucht waren. Der Zustand des Zimmers sei bekannt, wurde uns mitgeteilt. Sehr schade, da wir auch sehr früh gebucht hatten.

The stench of cabbage and bad drains from the bathroom was so overpowering it made me feel physically sick. Not even leaving the windows open all night helped. Tiny shower cubicle and prison-style bed. The hotel is so very dated, lights don’t work and it seems untouched since the 1970s. Thankfully only a one night stay for work. The area felt really unsafe I was woken at 3am by a fight going on on the main road

To start with the positive, the staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very dated, and very in need of updating. The corridor to my room had a light missing so was quite dark. The room had a strange smell coming from the bathroom and the shower doors were both broken. There was a stain on the chair and the whole room felt dingy. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. I didn’t try the breakfast, everything else put me off. The location is central, however the walk back in the evening felt a bit unsafe.

Dirty towels from the start that were simply hung back up instead of being changed (though I had put them on the floor to be changed), a horrible smell in the wardrobe, a shower that fell half apart when opening/closing, TV as well as half the lamps were not working, and so many more small things that just felt uncomfortable. For the price you can’t expect a luxury hotel but a basic level of cleanliness should be offered.. I’m not going to come back.

Room on the fourth floor was a bit warm, there is no airco but the had a fan. The bathroom is small but we had a good sleep. Another plus was also the fridge in the room. The room was a bit old fashioned but it was good for a one night stay. The staff was lovely, very pleasant people.

Booked into the Centro Hotel Blankenburg by INA for a staff conference being held in Karlsruhe. Hotel rooms were clean. However, put in a very small single room. Quite dark and not suitable for this trip. Speaking to my colleagues also at this accommodation they experienced similar. Am sure the hotel is fine for a 1 night stay for a regular traveller but can not recommend for the business traveller. Easy access to local transport links and for the city centre.
