This hotel was opened December 2023. So it is relatively new. The services were good, the room was nice and big with a few new technologies such as powered drapes, electric toilers. Robot for water/shaver delivery (cute).
It is located near the biggest mall 東匯城 (1.2km) in Kaiping. Lots of restaurants there.
I would stay there again if I ever go to 開平 again.

The family who runs the place masters the art of taking care of their guests. We posses a limited Chinese vocabulary, but with the help of a translation app, and their eagerness to make us feel at home, we had a great time.
The rooms are spacious and clean, we travel a lot and this was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while being in China.
All amenities are supplied (including a snack box in the room!) and everyone has been helpful in ensuring we had all we needed.
Breakfast was generous with many local dishes, ones we, as foreigners, most likely wouldn’t have tried on our own.
The location is very convenient; Zilicun entrance is a 8 min walk. You can easily spend the whole morning in Zilicun to enjoy the scenery before it gets too hot.
Afterwards we came back to enjoy lunch at the homestay - the restaurant serves tasty food.
In the evening the scenery is stunning, a lot of effort has been put in landscaping the garden and the towns main buildings are perfectly illuminated.
The family’s generosity, together with the facilities and the cosy performances at night made our stay very special. Thank you again!

GGuest UserAmong the various hotels and homestays around the Kaiping Diaolou Scenic Area, Liyuan B&B is a very distinctive one. Its appearance is solemn and beautiful, standing alone in the middle of a rice field. It feels like a European castle. At first glance, it has attracted me who was browsing the Ctrip website!
1. Liyuan B&B was converted from a real Diaolou. The front building is a two-story old school structure ”Daoming School”, and the back building is a four-story Diaolou. The entire B&B is like a work of art, fully interpreting the beauty of the combination of Chinese and Western architecture. Every detail can see the designer's careful thoughts, and every angle can be a painting
2. I added WeChat with the front desk customer service for the convenience of consultation when I booked the room. The two beauties at the front desk answered every question I asked, and the answers were detailed and thoughtful, which made me feel very relieved. Even if people haven't gone yet, they are actually familiar with the basic information of the B&B. After arriving, he answered all my questions and told me everything he knew, which was very heartwarming.
3. The B&B is a 2-minute drive from Liyuan. Even from the parking lot where we parked, we can see the B&B directly across the road. Hahaha, it's so interesting.
4. There are many free sweet soups and sour plum soups in the lobby to relieve the summer heat for friends who come from afar. To be honest, I felt very comfortable as soon as I sat down and drank the cool sweet soup, looked at the exquisite decorations in the lobby, and felt the breeze. I didn't want to move for a long time.
5. There are more than a dozen guest rooms, each of which is different, with its own characteristics and perspectives.
6. There is a spacious outdoor area where you can play football, drink tea, and take a walk. Climb to the roof of the back tower to overlook the surrounding rice fields.
7. A nutritious breakfast was given. Although it is not as gorgeous and rich as a five-star hotel, it is indeed a home-cooked taste. Simple is good. The key is that the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Sitting there and eating breakfast with my family, I felt peaceful and enjoyable.
8. When I left, the front desk lady also gave me a small gift: a refrigerator magnet and a coaster, which were customized by the B&B and are very memorable small items.
Thanks to Liyuan B&B, our family had a great time and spent a memorable May Day holiday!

GGuest UserA very good hotel. I also read the reviews and went there to experience it. The owner was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we brought our granddaughter, he upgraded the twin room for us. The hotel also provided bicycles. The three of us rode the three-person bicycle to eat at the place recommended by the owner. It was delicious and very good. There are two towers at the door of the homestay. It is very beautiful when the lights are on at night. There is a little regret that I went to the front desk in the morning to ask for hot water, but there was no water and I didn't want to boil it.

Very clean rooms and well prepared. The cleaners did a great job too.
4. Air Con and Amenities in the Room
Temperature controlled remote and good basic amenities for stay which is refilled during daily cleaning procedure when asked.
5. Laundry
They have a self-service laundry, which is very good and helpful. They even provide small amount of detergents for cleaner clothes.
The bonus is also the dryer machine that comes with it.
6. Check-out
Very quick and smooth.
7. Location
Good location which is near local shopping small if you want to do some small shopping or have a quick bite or tea/coffee break.
Feedback / Improvements for attracting more foreigners (Tourists) / Businesses (My opinion)
1. Basic/Simple English in front-desk would be helpful, but not important.
2. Translation on Laundry Instructions (self-service) can be helpful or pre-recorded video to help elderly or first-time visitors the correct procedures.
3. Restaurants to open not only for breakfast but option for different hours (such as afternoon/evening) but for short duration ordering time-period. Even though location is superb for local shopping mall, it would be great to experience afternoon/evening meal in the hotel and/or in-room dining services in the future (if it becomes popular).
4. Ironing board. There is a self service ironing but can be helpful to have an ironing board within the room, especially great experience with washing and drying clothes. However ironing clothes individually requires time and the ironing which is shared in the communal area can be time consuming if it is popular in demand during the time of use.
Overall, definitely superb hotel for the price and cleanliness. There is room for improvements but nevertheless, the experience and my stay there was nice.

From last year to this year, more than a year has passed, and the homestay is still very new and clean, and the facilities are more complete. The homestay is very warm and has a sense of atmosphere. I recommend it! The waiter in the store is also very friendly, and he upgraded us from a windowless room to a windowed room for free.
Personal suggestion: The room without windows is very large, new, and clean. It's just because it's not ventilated, so it is recommended to open the door for ventilation when no one lives there, and equip the room with a purifier, so that users who choose windowless rooms will be more willing to live there, and it will not affect the accommodation experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is very clean, the pillows are very comfortable, and the location is on the edge of the scenic area, but the scenic area is not big, so it doesn't have much impact. Because I live in the scenic area, I can arrange the evening schedule very easily. After watching the wonderful sparks, I can slowly enjoy the night view of the scenic area. The only poor experience is the shuttle bus arranged by the scenic area. When there are a lot of luggage, they can't lend a hand to help put it down, or guide to put the luggage down. It is indeed a bit lacking in human touch. Although it is a commercial scenic spot, adding a little humanistic care may attract more repeat customers😏

GGuest UserI made a temporary decision to go to Jiangmen yesterday and made a temporary reservation at Qiao Ke Zhenpin Apartment around 11pm. I was very satisfied.
The projection effect is very good, it is clean and hygienic, and there is a refrigerator and washing machine. There is even laundry detergent and alcohol for washing clothes.
There is a large balcony which is very comfortable, and there is a commercial street downstairs, which is very convenient.
This trip to Chikan Town was absolutely beautiful. I will come back again in the future and will continue to book this apartment. Highly recommended (#^.^#)👍🏻

There is no need to register again the next day. Chaoqi Parent-Child has a children's paradise (wave pool, slide, etc.) and There is no restaurant in the splash area. In the morning, you can choose the buffet on the first floor of the Mei Tang Hotel opposite or the morning tea street in the snack street. However, most of the morning tea streets are open-air without air conditioning. It seems that the upper limit of 158 yuan per person is used to eat. The room is really healing. Choose Went to the slide room. There was a slide at the door and a bed inside. It was a big place and there were basic children’s picture books. There were cute furnishings everywhere. I guess because it was a parent-child family, there was no desk, not many charging stations at the bedside, and no USB charging. The service is also very good. The staff will help bring luggage to the room, which is very considerate. But if you want to go to scenic spots, you will still choose Meitang. Meitang is close to Iron Flower and Peace Square, and Peace Square is close to Dangdang Bus. .

MMary Wilson AndersonThe hotel was very well located, it is between two villages, I recommend renting a bike from the hotel which costs 40 RMB per day and cycling around. Distance between the village is 15-20 min. It's not very easy to ask for Didi, you can get it but it takes time and you have to be trying until getting one. Very Clean room, comfortable bed and with bathroom amenities. AWESOME STAFF AND VERY HELPFUL!
