Person at check in was very friendly and helpful, recommended some points of interest with a map during our visit. The room was very clean and quiet during the night with great background views. The only minor issues was the shower pressure, slow floor drainage and no kitchen sink.

Nestled in the breathtaking coastal town of Kaikoura, the hotel provided a charming retreat. The room was stylish and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and serene atmosphere. The staff was warm and accommodating, making guests feel right at home, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a tranquil escape in New Zealand.

Clean room and absolutely happy with the newly renovated toilet. Parking is right outside my room. Has all the necessary facilities, crockery and cutlery. Friendly staff at check in.

設施比較齊全，但房間太暗了，顯得有些壓抑。洗手間稍顯簡陋。我們有幾個燈壞了，負責的小姑娘立馬拿梯子過來換好了。

Had one night there in late May, such amazing friendly service and the room was so clean and the bed so comfortable! So quiet and we had a good nights sleep! Would go back there for sure! Shower pressure was just epic, great rooms, first class amenities!

Great little motel staff very helpful rooms spacious bed comfy close & handy to food options if you want to walk very quiet motel bathroom facilities very good we enjoyed our stay here room nice & warm as it was cold when we were there Kaikoura has some breath taking views we worth a visit

Terrible - didn’t get a wink of sleep! Noisiest motel I’ve ever stayed in, very disrespectful place. I’ve been to rock concerts that were quieter than this joint, save your shillin and go somewhere that respects all it’s customers.

I’m a regular guest at the Lobster inn , I’m there every two weeks and I’m always impressed at the friendly helpful service , the rooms are always spotless ,lovely comfortable beds, the owners care about providing old fashioned service and are always willing to help in any way. A good variety of meals can be enjoyed at the bar and restaurant with regular specials and additions to the menu. I travel extensively for my work , and have a good opportunity to critique South Island accomodation the Lobster Inn Kaikoura rates at the top of my preferred list .
