The hotel team is incredibly thoughtful - they saw we were traveling with kids and offered a free room upgrade to better accommodate everyone 😊 We arrived at the hotel pretty early around 11am and most of our rooms were already ready despite being before check-in time. The rooms are clean and super comfy! The breakfast spread is great, with a mix of hot foods and cold cuts. The area is filled with cute coffee shops and local artisanal products. There’s a grocery store and fruit shop along the road too. It’s a pleasant 10-minute walk to Istiklal Avenue. Walking to the Tophane tram station is through a hillier area and takes about 15 minutes (quicker if you take a route with stairs but we had a stroller). Lovely stay at Orka, will definitely stay here again!

Good experience

Such a lovely hotel! Location is perfect 👌in walking distance of Taksim squared and a lot of the famous sites, public transport and the cutest streets, restaurants and cafes. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a lot bigger than I thought they would bed. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They assisted with ordering taxis and had 24hr check in which was super ideal! Breakfast was really good and there was a massive variety. Would definitely stay there again when I visit Istanbul. Had a great time!

The hotel is very good, the facilities are very new, and the service attitude is also very good. After eating breakfast on the first floor, you can feel the local atmosphere. The only shortcoming is that it is not easy to find. Close to the Independence Street, five minutes walk, people come and go, the flow is endless.

The location of this hotel is very good and within reach of transport and shopping. The hotel facilities are very good and the staff are very helpful, friendly and approachable. Emir was excellent and helped me with advice on how to get around certain parts of Istanbul. I’d recommend this hotel and certainly will be staying again very soon.

What a horrible experience this hotel has provided. Their pictures mislead you, their amenities they claim to have are non existent and their breakfast and staff you have to argue with to get what you need. We got told off because our 10 month old was making a mess when she was eating…..SHES A BABY. When things got so bad and we wanted to leave the reservation team refused to provide a refund or even a partial refund so we can relocate It’s been a very stressful few days until they finally upgraded us to a suite to compensate for all the misleading and issues.

That hotel is a scam, mold in the bathroom, no air conditioning, leaking toilet, broken mirrors. The pictures of the Hotel does not correspond to reality at all. It’s really dirty. We left and asked for a refund but the owner refused. RUN AWAY

The staff is very nice and professional, me and my sister arrived on the last two days of Eid el Fiter so we got a room that we didn't like that much so next day we asked to change it to a different one and they did. And they gave us an option to choose a different room if we didn't like it. The hotel is very close to Isteklal street and the neighborhood is very nice and beautiful there is a bakery nearby and supermarket and vegetable and fruit store. An excellent coffee place called Gramaj and a tea store in front of the hotel. The cleaning stuff cleaned well. Especially Salih. The receptionist Zahra and her colleague were awesome and professional. Would come back again for sure

A clean and pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and the hotel offers. Good value. As well, conveniently located in the old town. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is generous. Recommend it should you be planning on spending time in that part of the lovely and intriguing city of Istanbul!

The good: This hotel was clean and the location is great. The bad: It’s over priced for what you get. The rooms are VERY small. The breakfast was extremely mediocre. Poor quality food. Messy buffet. The only decent coffee is an extra charge. And the cafe area was full of screaming kids and was super chaotic.

We had greatest experience in Istanbul and staying in this hotel.. The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing, location is great with walking distances to great locations around. The staff were so helpful although some didn’t speak English but we managed and so friendly.. Definitely will stay again in out next visit.

Appreciated the airport transfer, we arrived very early in Istanbul and this saved us a lot of hassle at the airport. Our room was quite spacious and the hotel is perfectly located. Only issue was noise in the evening from the above apartment and the permanent smell of cigarettes from other guests smoking in their rooms. Bfast is mediocre.

Rooms clean .Staff very helpful and friendly .Breakfast simple but adequate Would definitely stay again Bathroom small and a bit awkward to use as shower as you walked in so had to sidestep to use toilet when floor was wet.

The location is nice but it s unacceptable that they have theater and every night the room is “moving” because of the high sound of music.the person in charge in the morning is a very very welcoming person very professional and helpful.the people afternoon and night are terrible,u talk to them,they don t even answer.impolite.i asked them to find a solution for the sound,at 11h pm,he didn t even answer back..like i was talking to myself.a terrible hotel.we stayed 3nights.2 nights we couldn t sleep.i will never go back,and i don t recommend it to anybody
