Ulasan Akgun Istanbul Hotel

The people are amazing. Very helpful and polite. But some of them are not quite friendly. Maybe because they don’t like me, but in general my experience is good with them. However, I will not consider this hotel again as residential for me.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and attention to detail. The location was little off but in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. My room was spacious, with a breathtaking view of the city, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything spotless. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I particularly loved the breakfast buffet with a wide variety of fresh options. Thank you

i guess it used to be one of the best hotels in Istanbul, now it is an old hotel with old furnature, but the service is good. We recommend.

They have turned the hotel into a business center. You can't bring food and water from the out side. But you can buy it from an expensive restaurant inside.

Room was very old and the plugs weren't working. Staff atitude is terrible and especially the check in staff. We arrived at 4:30 PM (check in time is at 2 PM) he told us to wait for check in, we waited nearly 30 minutes for our room to be ready and he didn't even smile or even look at usEv Even during check in they brought a welcome drink to the clients that were waiting for their room except us and when we asked the girl for our welcome drink she said no It's not for you It's for other people, i was like WOOW. Location is on highway and very bad, you have to take a taxi to reach any nearby places. Breakfast staff are very nice and were treating us nicely, other staff were really terrible.

Nice clean hotel. Big size rooms. There are no restaurants nearby. Had to take a taxi to eat out.

Akgun Istanbul Hotel was the perfect choice for my stay. The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location made exploring the city so easy. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, and the hotel’s relaxing ambiance was a welcome retreat after sightseeing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

The is excellent very close to metro station breakfast if good but the furniture is too old and the washroom as well Otherwise is great place and I will come back to visit again

I chose this hotel because I wanted to have a bath in a room. But it wasn't worth it. The location is bad. There is nothing really around. Don't expect to have a view. The room was old and cold. The bathtub was very small. The paint on the walls took off years ago. So I couldn't really relax as I imagined. I think, the hotel wasn't renewed for years.. The breakfast was not worth 500 liras. Even though it's a 5 star hotel, there was almost no one who could speak English. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel is vintage and rooms are old and the furniture seems old. I was given a room that overlooks parking area, and my colleagues were given rooms that overlooks the garden. When I asked for a garden overlooking room, they said it isnt available. AC was not cold, and some lights were not working in the room. I went back to reception to let them know of these issues; and they promised of changing the room after half an hour to clean it. I did not receive the room until 2 hours and a half later due to busy staff. Rooms are clean, and excellent breakfast that has many options.
