After having had a bad experience in a hotel we had already booked, we went to this Sögüt Hotel and Spa in the hope of finding a bit of comfort at least, and we were not disappointed. After explaining the situation to the staff, they so kindly helped us to manage our booking and offered us all possible services to make us feel comfortable. Throughout our stay we felt a great welcome and excellent service from the very professional hotel staff who always greeted us with a big smile. I can't remember all the names, but I will remember the names of Ali, Etem and Zaffer. For the next trip to Istanbul, I will definitely book at the same hotel (I hope to see them again sooner). Naima

The hotel was magnificent, the rooms were very comfortable -The hotel staff was friendly and professional -The location of the hotel was ideal and close to all the major tourist attractions. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and there was a clear concern for the comfort of the guests. Staying at this hotel was one of the worst experiences of my life. The rooms and beds were very dirty, I found bed bugs in my room and when I told the receptionist they did not take it seriously. They lied multiple times and told me they did not have a bed bug problem but after talking with other guests that were staying in the hotel we figured out many other guests had the same problem. I had to change rooms three times and found bed bugs in all the rooms! The hotel manager and owner were incredibly rude and went in to my room without my consent multiple times, even once while I was sleeping. I would recommend anyone traveling to Istanbul to stay as far away from this hotel as possible!

The worst experience ever !! The rooms were dirty blankets dirty one of the rooms that is supposed to be a family room was a mess everything was dirty even (toilet seat , under bed , drawers , and mattress) Also some rooms were infected by bed bugs (when we found out at night About bed bugs they didn't let us change rooms so we had to stay awake for a full night also our clothes were already messed up) they are accusing us of bringing the bed bugs while we can prove that it's not us and there is another person that encountered the same problem 6 months ago , in addition one of the guests that were here before us found bed bugs .( Last day) We decided to leave the hotel because we are scared of getting bitten or having to throw out our clothes and as I said we have childrens with us .when we submitted for a cancel In booking they didn't want to confirm they are just trying to put the blame on us . I am so upset and I hope they get what they deserve by law. (Reservation by the name of Abderrahmane badawi)

My stay at the Sogut Hotel & Spa in the Old City of Istanbul was truly memorable, largely due to the incredible staff. Mr. Memduh, the manager, alongside Mr. Sabri, Mr. Jalal, and Mr. Mert, were exceptionally helpful, polite, and always ready to accommodate any request. The breakfast offered was fantastic, contributing to the start of each day being just perfect. Traveling with my mother, it was important for me to make the right choice regarding accommodation, and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. The professionalism and warmth of the staff made our stay in Istanbul even more special. I sincerely hope that these wonderful individuals continue to work at the Sogut Hotel & Spa for a long time, continuing to make guests' experiences unforgettable. With best regards Mr.Fakhriddin

I had an amazing week at this hotel. The breakfast was delightful, the cleanliness impeccable, and the staff incredibly kind. I would like to extend a special thank you to Sinan and Mamduh for their exceptional service. I will miss my morning cup of tea.

Very Good location,near to the shops and sightseeings,clean ,room the best, parking o.k. , staff and especially Birgin polite and friendly, towels old,, and sometimes you hear the neighbour's.I will definitely go again

The locaton was perfect. What gets me angry that i paied for the parking 10euros per day(in boking was written 5euros) and in the end they didnt had parking. I parked my car before the entrace of the restorant And the sfaf asked for the keyes of my car Everytime they moved the car because no place What i liked in the hotel was clean staf they were the most polite staf that i have seen. Breakfast was 3 out of 10 Eggs chees orange juice sasuages The room was small but again i mention the cleanles was perfect everything on time eveeyday new towels( THANK YOU CLEANING STAFF) At the end i recomend staying in this hotel

Hotel is in a good location 15 minutes walk to major tourist sites. First room they put us in was next to the lift so everytime the lift moved it felt and sounded like an earthquake. They moved us immediately which was good to a bigger room. The internet in this hotel is non existent it only barely works in the reception. I complained several times and a technician was sent but it did not improve. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeper/maid was very good and very polite. Towels looked like they had not been changed since the 1980s all falling apart. Water was cold unless u left it on for 5 minutes to worm up and water pressure was poor. There was no breakfast available for the time we were there we were told to go to the next hotel. The reception staff did not speak good English and were rude and not listening to what I was saying, telling me "you are wrong" when I was clearly right, he was just talking about something else. The only saving grace for this hotel was the porters especially sabrt who was polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable of the local area and could bot have helped us more. I suggest to the management if they are reading this that they put the porters on reception and the receptionist as porters. The porters speak good English and have manners and know how to speak to people. If it had not been for Sabrt then this would have been a complete disaster. Thank you sabrt keep up the good work it was a pleasure meeting you. From the big guy.

We booked the Sogut Hotel through a third party website. When we arrived, they did not have room and moved us to their sister hotel, a new Ramada , up the road. The manager that night, supposedly Mr. Hakmet, told us we would receive a discount for having to move and we paid the discounted price then and there. On our last night in the other hotel, a teenage member of my group was locked out their room by the Ramada and told they had to pay the full price (another 250 euros) or would not be allowed back in. Being alone and under pressure, he paid. When we returned and confronted Ramada, they told us they were following the instructions of Sogut Hotel. When we confronted Mr. Engen from the Sogut Hotel, he said he did not care. He refused to acknowledge the discounted price we had agreed upon and said that he was not accountable for the actions of his staff. He was incredibly rude and it seemed clear that his fake discount and bullying tactics were part of a pre-planned scam to stop us switching hotels when the Sogut ran out of rooms. I was appalled by our treatment and the Hotel's attitude. This hotel and its staff are not to be trusted.

Few good points but overall experience was terrible. - Cold room - Personnel (especially the woman at the desk) terrible service. Kept on lying about solving our issues and false promise on changing room. No one communicates with eachother

Das Hotel war sauber und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, Vorallem der Herr Etem. Er war sehr gesprächig und hat uns immer geholfen. Das Frühstück hatte eine große Auswahl und es wurde schnell auf Wünsche eingegangen. Ich kann dieses Hotel zu 100 Prozent weiter empfehlen :)

Dieses Hotel, gelegen mitten im Herzen der Stadt, hat meinen Aufenthalt zu einem wahrhaft unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses fällt die außergewöhnliche Pflege und Sauberkeit auf, die in jedem Winkel des Hotels spürbar ist. Vom makellos polierten Empfangsbereich bis hin zu den tadellos gereinigten Zimmern – hier wird deutlich, dass größter Wert auf hohe Standards und das Wohlbefinden der Gäste gelegt wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltige und vielseitige Frühstücksbuffet, das jeden Morgen aufs Neue begeistert. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist beeindruckend und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas – von frischen Früchten und knusprigen Brötchen über eine Vielzahl von Aufschnitten und Käse bis hin zu warmen Gerichten, die keine Wünsche offenlassen. Jeder Morgen begann für mich mit einem Genuss, der den Start in den Tag perfekt machte. Ein weiterer, ganz besonderer Aspekt meines Aufenthalts war das Personal. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind nicht nur durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, sondern gehen auch weit über das hinaus, was man üblicherweise von einem guten Service erwarten kann. Besonders möchte ich hier Herrn Firat und Herrn Etem hervorheben, die durch ihre Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen haben. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Professionalität haben meinen Aufenthalt erheblich bereichert. Sie standen mir jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, sei es bei der Organisation von Ausflügen, der Beantwortung von Fragen oder einfach durch ein freundliches Gespräch. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Von hier aus sind alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Attraktionen der Stadt leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, was das Erkunden der Umgebung sehr angenehm macht. Trotz der Lage im Zentrum bietet das Hotel eine ruhige und entspannende Atmosphäre, die es ermöglicht, nach einem Tag voller Entdeckungen zur Ruhe zu kommen und sich zu erholen. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die perfekte Mischung aus gepflegtem Ambiente, erstklassigem Service und zentraler Lage macht es zu einem idealen Ort für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und freue mich schon jetzt auf meinen nächsten Besuch.
