Hotel Parco Cartaromana is one of our favourite hotels in Italy! The venue is very clean and has the most incredible views of the Aragonese castle. Staff always go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need and it’s only 10 minute walks to Ischia Ponte. They also have a Shuttle service from 9pm for guest to get picked up and taken back to the hotel. We never normally stay anywhere more than once, but this is the exception. There’s a great large pool and two small pools. For those who are able to climb downstairs to the beach, it’s definitely worth swimming there. This area is the site of the old town “Aenaria” beneath the sea. This time was even better than our last trip in 2017! Grazie mille!

We stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel is located on a hill with impressive views of the castle and about 30 mins walk from Ischia Port. The hotel staff overall are friendly and helpful. The room felt outdated and very basic but for the price we paid it was fine. Breakfast was OK, although there could be slight improvements on quality of food. It's only a 10/15 minute walk from the castle with lots of choice for restaurants/bars nearby. The hotel has 3 pools, and a sauna which was nice to use. Overall, I recommend the place if you're looking for a budget hotel with all the amenities you need.

The hotel is a short bus ride from the port but an easy walk to Ischia Ponte with the castle and lots of excellent restaurants. We had a superb view from our room over the swimming pool and across to the castle. The staff were always friendly and helpful and all seemed to speak English! We loved Ischia and will stay here if we come again.

This hotel is in a great location with lovely views of the castle. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a good powerful hot shower, plenty of storage space, a fridge and a comfy bed. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The pool is clean and the bar serves reasonably priced cocktails. There is an easy way to walk down to the old town and the castle, but be warned there are many many steps. Some excellent restaurants down there are worth the walk. Totally recommend this hotel - we’re looking forward to returning next year!

We stayed at Hotel Parco Cartaromana only 2 nights since we stayed three different locations during our trip to Ischia. What a mistake that we didn’t stay at this hotel whole duration we were in Ischia! We selected other 2 hotels also for their wonderful reviews, facilities, locations etc but everyone at this hotel is so genuinely kind and we felt we were given far superior hospitality than other hotels we stayed at. It’s a good example that human factor makes such a big difference! The very nice lady we met at the reception area honored my request when we checked out by kindly remembered our little conversation we had a day before. I should have asked her name but suspect she must be Sig.ra Maria Teresa by reading other reviews. And I also want to thank a youngest male receptionist, who kindly repaired my partner’s glasses by using his own equipment. We can’t wait to go back to Hotel Parco Cartaromana as soon as they reopen after the closure in winter.

I have just returned from a splendid week at the hotel Parco Cartaromana. It was the second year in a row that my husband and I stayed there and we just have to praise the whole staff for the high quality service. The hotel is sit on a hill which provides a stunning view to the Aragonese castle. I suggest to follow the “sea” sign from the hotel’s swimming pool and you will be greeted with a further beautiful spot. We visited the island using the public transport, and once you know the buses timetable it is very easy to stroll around. The hotel offers everything we needed for a perfect stay in Ischia, the room (we chose one of the rooms with castle view) is spacious and clean with a good shower, the swimming pool is sunny all over the day, and the dinner is just delicious, authentic Italian food prepared with fresh ingredients. Special thanks to Gioacchino, we are looking forward to being there again.

How lucky I was to find this hotel! The hotel will close for the winter but please book for next year. I stayed 5 night as a solo and the staff was so kind and thoughtful to me. When I first got to my room #77 I had a beautiful view of the castle and the water. I think the best view in this section might be room 78 full view of castle...mine was blocked by a palm tree but it was still stunning. Besides the view, the gorgeous pool the wonderful food was the most tireless staff who paid attention to all details from morning breakfast till dinner finished at 10pm. The same people worked from morning till night. The room was so clean and big, not overly fancy but just perfect with cable tv(Netflix) for free. Free car service at an easy pick up point downtown from 9-12 really made this stay extra special. But you can walk down hill or take local bus to town very easy. I was happy to meet one of the sister who own the hotel, Maria Teresa who was so genuine with me. Thank you Maria Teresa. I will keep all the names of the staff and hope to visit again, they were all so good to me, please thank them for me!

After last year, I came back to the Hotel Parco CartaRomana. Well, the experience was even better than last year (maybe because we are familiar with Ischia now) and the extremely positive opinion is doubtless confirmed. Location is simply amazing with the view of the castle Aragonese upon the sea, staff is courteous and ready to help. Food served for dinner simply delicious (I had 7 dinners and never ate same food) tied to the Italian tradition (fresh seafood and homemade cakes). Just outside the hotel there is the bus stop which connects the hotel with Ischia porto station, the main hub to go all over the places in Ischia. Thanks to Gioacchino and his crew for the 5 star treatment me and my wife received. Looking forward to coming back next year!

We stayed in the hotel in July and loved every day, amazing view, clean rooms and very kind staff. Due to an medical emergency we had to first cancel our booking, but was able to rebook with the hotel on very short notice. The hotel credited our first down payment and adjusted the bill, which we highly appreciated. The staff was super friendly and assisted us on any concern or question we had. They helped us making booking and recommended us, what we shall visit on Ischia.
