Dionard Guest House

My wife and I stayed at the Dionard Guest House on our Honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. Gail is a true delight and was so welcoming to us. Adam and the other staff were also lovely to chat to in the mornings and served us a brilliant customisable breakfast. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Inverness.

This is undoubtedly the best guest house I've ever stayed at. Gail the Owner is outstanding and really looks after her guests. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail is second to none. Very close to all Inverness has to offer. As a tour driver staying in multiple Hotels/B&Bs and Geust houses throughout the UK this is a must stay establishment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed two nights at the B&B, great location, amazing breakfast and the owner “Gail” is outstanding, authentic, joyful and so pleasant to deal with! Parking was available with good access to venture and visit the surrounding. We loved our stay.

Had an amazing two night stay at the Dionard Guest House. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well out together room. Gayle is incredibly thoughtful in every way at their beautiful Place. The Continental breakfast offering was good but her hot breakfast offering was even better! Highly recommend when staying in Inverness.

This is what I want a B&B to be. It is very much a personal enterprise by the owner, Gail, and she shows hospitality in a lot of small details, from chocolate in the room to the way her porridge is served. The Dionard is located within easy walking distance of the centre of Inverness; we could and did walk to two good restaurants within 10 minutes. Our room was enormous’ A couple of folded beds suggested that it is available as a family room; sometimes you get lucky. The condition was excellent and there was plenty of storage space. Breakfast is in two sittings, with orders for cooked items submitted the night before (though with a buffet for fruit, cereals, etc); the advantage of this is that everything is cooked and served absolutely fresh, and is excellent. While there are times for corporate predictability, on holiday, this is what I want to find.

This was the most coziest little bed & breakfast! It was truly an enjoyable experience with fabulous hospitality from the moment you walk in the door. Gail and her staff were very welcoming and friendly! You truly felt at home while you were here. The rooms were spacious, cozy and comfortable with a fridge filled with water and milk, you even had a hot water kettle and tea in your room. You could sit out in the lovely veranda and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the birds singing, which create a beautiful ambience. The entire guesthouse was clean with beautiful elegant decor inside and outside. Location was perfect, a close walk down to the river and heart of Inverness so you could easily get to restaurants, shops, & sights. I traveled with a friend, we're from the US, and we had cell service issues and were stranded at the Clava Cairns unable to call a taxi, luckily I was able to reach out to Gail and she ordered us a taxi and even offered to come get us if the taxi didn't find us! She was phenomenal! She even prepared us a takeaway breakfast bag for our early morning departure. This is a MUST STAY if you're ever in Inverness. I'm already planning to return on my next trip to Scotland! :) Thank you for everything Gail, it was a memorable experience to last a lifetime! Cheers!
