Cabin was very cold, and the bed felt almost damp with the cold. The finishings aren't great, and things are in need of a refurbishment. I can't argue with the price as it was very cheap, I can see why. The amenities are decent, bathroom a bit small but to be expected. Overall, it's not the worst stay, but the place is in need of work asap.

I booked here for two weeks through another booking site. I wish I’d read the reviews and responses more carefully, they are very accurate and unfortunate. My long review is in the photos. But in short, the shower was scalding because it was broken. I was moved to another container while the scalding unrepaired shower was rented to someone else, an elderly couple. Quite dangerous. The place I was moved to Mary Queen of Scot’s, smelled intolerably and overwhelmingly of cat pee. And was freezing. I asked to be moved back to the scalding shower spot or to be allowed to leave. I was told I’d need to find other accommodations if the pee smell was not livable. That I could not be moved. I did easily find additional and far better accommodation. I was told I was be refunded 6 nights of my stay. I was not. It’s been weeks. My request for payment or an update are ignored. I wish I’d read the reviews more closely. It’s obvious the owner cares only up to the point of collecting the money and then the quality of care is disregarded to pretty abusive. See for yourself.

We stayed here for 2 nights before setting off on NC500, I was a little apprehensive given some of the reviews here but I have to say our experience was very positive. The accommodation was very clean and fully equipped as described. The shower was really very good. Space to sit out in the evening if you want, which is nice as space inside is a little tight, Fine if you are staying for a few nights though. Quiet and relaxing setting, Good parking and close to local shops etc. We never met any staff during our time, but had no reason to make contact as everything was fine.

I never actually stayed here I just walked passed and thought it looked great and could be a fun place for family and friends to stay. No way will I recommend it after the extremely rude welcome we received from a man and his barking off the lead dog. He asked with a very grumpy voice. Are you staying here?! We said no, he stormed off and slammed a gate behind him. Rude!!!

If I could give Glamness more than 5* I would. Container was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy & soft. Very peaceful & relaxing. Owner popped by on our first night to see if we settled in OK or needed anything. Lovely man. Went on the south loch Ness trail nearby which was breathtaking and beautiful. Will hopefully be back again. Thankyou x

We booked with these people and provided our debit card details, normal practice, which they rejected and cancelled the booking without consultation. I contacted them and changed the card details to a credit card and was told to re book. When I asked to rebook I was allocated a night 4 days later and then told there were no longer any vacancies but as mine was a non refundable booking they kept the money paid, even though they had changed the dates without checking with us. Reprehensible and dishonest behaviour and I couldn't in all conscience recommend them.
