The hotel is in a nice and calm riverside street, facing beautiful views, however 10-15 minutes walk from many restaurants and bars in the centre. We were greeted and served politely both at the front desk and breakfast room. The rooms were not as tidy and well-kept as should be expected at this price level. There was some noise from outside, including gardening machine noise during morning while we stayed there. The housekeeping staff seemed to be working only before noon, which led to shortages in room cleanliness and in-room coffee for example. Breakfast was very basic, with many items lacking from the buffet if we went to have breakfast past 10 am. Coffee at the breakfast tasted bad. The associated pub and terrace were nice and even offered occasional live music.

Alasdair the concierge was an absolute superstar. Will definitely be back! The Location is perfect, room was gorgeous, all of staff were super helpful and friendly. The adjoining restaurant and distillery are well worth a visit. Super recommend.

Stunning hotel, great location, and lovely restaurant and food. My only negatives as a woman travelling alone for work, I had to walk ( albeit a short distance) at night, to my accommodation and unfortunately I was in a ground floor room with the fabulous large bay window, directly overlooking the busy foot path and hotel walkway. As I arrived late afternoon it was getting dark and necessary to have the lights on, but unfortunately i had to close the curtains and keep them closed in the morning until I was showered and dressed as you could see right into my room . Also again as a lone female traveller, there is no phone in the room to call reception if I had a problem, I would have to go outside and walk to reception, so it didn’t feel entirely safe. Nonetheless a really beautiful hotel and had I been with my partner, then other than the ground floor issue I would have no complaint's

Some good things and some things not so good. Excellent central location beside River Ness, very large and comfortable bed, quality pillows, tasty fish and chips in restaurant. Almost £7 for a beer s pricey, and the live music in the bar was way too loud. In the room the wardrobe hangers had no crossbar, so not able to hang up trousers. No basket or shelf for shower toiletries. Decaff coffee at breakfast was a pot of water and some sachets of Nescafé instant powder….poor show. Invest in a few automatic coffee machines, and ensure the food is kept warmer, the juice containers constantly refilled, and you don’t run out of pastries before breakfast is finished. The staff were very pleasant.

We had a room with a view of the river, and the room was spacious and cozily decorated. The older buildings are well-maintained. It was a bit noisy between the room and the hallway, but that's to be expected in old buildings. I really enjoyed the overall experience with the hotel, the restaurant, and the brewery. I recommend both the restaurant and trying their beer. The breakfast didn't have as many options as I’ve experienced at other hotels, but it included the most common items for a hotel breakfast, and it tasted good. I tried the haggis, which I thought was really tasty. We'll definitely return here if we visit Inverness again

The room we had was massive. Hotel is bit quirky in that it is a collection of several large Georgian houses and they still have some original features. We had a lovely bay window looking over the river Ness. Guess down side is you need to go outside to move between buildings, but worth it.

We have stayed many times at Glen Mohr. This time we were in Alexander room 614 ... where do I even start. Room is tiny - and not very clean. Opened the windows in the bathroom and black with dirt and peeling paint, blinds that haven't seen a duster for a long time. Had to sleep with window wide open because room was so hot. Our key card to our room sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. We told one of the housekeeping staff we were having problems getting into the room - she came and let us in, no exchange of conversation just rolled her eyes. Not very professional and hardly our fault. We already don't bother with breakfast here as in the past we have found the food offered to be tepid at best and mediocre in quality. I doubt after this latest experience we will ever return.

We booked the deluxe river room and we're very happy with the accommodation. It was so nice relaxing at the end of the day and watching the river. It is close to the main tourist area but also a short walk to ness Island. The room was spacious and well appointed. The little details including the kettle with a nice selection of teas and towel warmer very much appreciated. We purchased the breakfast option. The convenience made it worthwhile but the buffet wasn't anything special.
