We stayed two nights in the Glen mhor for a family and friends road trip. Reception were very friendly and helpful at both check in and check out. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with fabulous river views. The only quibble is that the rooms on the ground floor need window sheers to let the light in but gives privacy. The hotel is so well located to see everything in the town and when the sun is shining there are two beer gardens overlooking the river. We are in the waterside restaurant. The food was delicious and value for money. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The view of the river was stunning. The meals were excellent. The service by all the staff was kind and welcoming. We loved the breakfast staff each day. We were easily able to walk to many locations. Our room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. Our room was right above the check in which was super convenient. Huge room w/ amazing view. The staff were super friendly. The whiskey distillery was beautiful & the bartenders were very knowledgeable & funny. At breakfast find Elenor, the manager & a highland cow (her words), she has great travel trips & is an incredible person. Find her!!!

Pros: The hotel is at a great location. Food is Ok. Room size OK Cons: Staff is very rude, no hospitality, very bad experience. Bathroom door latch broken. No intercom in the room. No complimentary toiletries If you need extra tea bags or coffee sachets you will feel that you are asking for gold biscuits from them. Check in time 4 pm which is very late. At the time of check in they didnt inform that they take late check out charges after 11 am. No grace time for check out..which is very strange. Just minting money as much possible from the customers. There are other cheaper hotels in the same location, which one can opt. Overall will not recommend!

DIABOLICAL, Booked five nights, left after three as our stay was ENDURED rather than ENJOYED! Web site looks Very Modern, our room was ANTIQUATED - OLD FURNITURE with gaps in the base of some drawers. NO WARDROBE, only a few hangers in an alcove!! Toilet cistern leaked around the handle and the seat moved about all the time. This was reported but never fixed. One cup had a chip, and was told by the receptionist to go to the bar and ask for another one. NOT ACCEPTABLE AS A PAYING GUEST. Tea, coffee etc not replaced. Our cups and glasses were left dirty. Bed was not made properly and room not cleaned. RESTAURANT WAS MORE LIKE A CANTEEN! Staff were not good and the service was very poor.

Nice room with a view of the Ness River. Easy access (walking) to downtown shopping area. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate offered in room. FABULOUS BREAKFAST! Best I have ever had in a hotel. Room was small but well laid out. Would have loved a small dresser or a few hooks on the armoire for hanging jackets. BRING A RAIN JACKET! Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. They also need to put a folding door on the bathroom so that you can maneuver around it more easily. Cost was pretty reasonable.

I traveled in early June with my husband and 2 adult sons. We took a 2 bedroom apartment to give us a respite from being in hotel rooms. We wanted a place where we could relax after a day of exploring and have access to a kitchen to avoid eating in restaurants all the time. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything that we would need. The rooms were small but well set up and the room with the 2 single beds was great for the boys. The room was initially made as a double bed but within 30 minutes of making the request, the housekeeper was there to make the modifications and separate the mattresses. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows and blankets. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pub was fun with a great selection of local beers. The down side was that the front door was ill-fitting and we were concerned that it would be easy to break into. It was also drafty in the front hall due to this. You could see light all around the door when closed and could feel the cold air coming in.

The hotel is located directly on the picturesque River Ness. The room and bathroom is a very nice size, and I loved the aesthetic with the tartan plaid everywhere. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very accommodating. This hotel is in a great location if you are looking to walk around Inverness. I did enjoy that they had breakfast every morning starting at 7AM.

Great location just 1/4 mile from the downtown area. The complimentary hot breakfast was fantastic and started at 7am to help us get a full day of sightseeing in. We stayed in a ground floor room with a king bed and pull-out couch. LOTS of room and architectural character in the space. Uile Bheist is right on the property with 5+ main stay brews and spirits, and there is a very nice bier garten outside when the weather is nice. Check-in/out is fast. The 'Bog Myrtle' hand soap was excellent in the room! Great value for the price and vicinity to downtown.
