Not good. The facilities are not proportional to the price. It is unreasonably expensive. I stayed here for one night and moved to the Blue Water Hotel by the lake. It is not only more than a thousand cheaper than this one, but also of much higher quality. This one is a rip-off, probably only open during the Spring Festival, specifically for Chinese people

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is very close to the lake and the hotel, with free parking. The decoration and furniture are very beautiful and tasteful. I recommend it! The boss couple Dave and Sue are also very friendly and were very happy to hear that this is our second stay.

HUGE space. Thankfully the rooms were on the first level and the living room was on the second level so we did not have to lug the luggages up stairs. Only had one toilet for two rooms, wish there could be more toilets. Otherwise, everything was pretty clean. There was also a space with alpacas and lamb facing the room. Near the main lake tekapo shops. (Just across the road)

The stay was good, nice location. Just the kitchen too pack especially during dinner time. Kitchenware (pans, bowls cutleries etc) provided in the room we have to bring it down to the kitchen every time we need to prepare food in the kitchen.

The hotel is great, with two floors, spacious and bright rooms, clean and sanitary. The first floor is the living room and dining room, with an open kitchen. The tableware is complete, and there is a fireplace, which must be very warm in winter. There are many TV programs, and you don't need a Netflix membership to watch them directly. In addition, there are many children's educational toys. There is also a private garden. The second floor is the bedroom, and there is a small balcony where you can sit on the balcony and bask in the sun. This kind of room is very suitable for a family vacation, but it's a pity that I only stayed for one night, and I should have stayed longer.

This was by far the best place I stayed at while traveling through New Zealand, even though there wasn’t anyone there to check us in. The process was still incredibly easy—getting the check-in information emailed to me was simple and straightforward. When I arrived, the room was clean, modern, and cozy, and they even left us a small gift since it was Christmas Eve. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. The unit also had laundry facilities, which was a huge bonus after living out of our suitcases for over a week. I would definitely stay here again—it had everything we needed and more, making it feel like a home away from home.

I had a wonderful stay in a great location. It was close to Lake Tekapo and the supermarket on the lakeside, and I could see the stars from the garden at night. The area was full of accommodations, but it was quiet and I felt safe. The room was clean, there were two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and the living room was very spacious. There were indoor slippers, so I changed into my shoes, but I think it would be better if the dirt floor was a little larger. But I had a very good time. Thank you very much.

The B&B is located in the center of Tekapo town, about 1-2 KM away from the Tekapo Lakeside Business District and the Church of the Good Shepherd, it's about 2-minute driving or a 10-15-minute walking. The entire B&B have the units, named one-bedroom unit (one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom), two-bedroom unit (two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom) and three-bedroom unit (three bedrooms, one living room and two bathrooms). Each unit is independent and there is no shared space. Each unit is equipped with air conditioning, electric heaters, and electric blankets to ensure warmth and comfort. Free Wifi is provided in the B&B, and the network is high-speed and stable. The two-bedroom unit and three-bedroom unit are equipped with kitchens and necessary pots and pans, so that delicious food can be cooked on the trip. Please note: there is no kitchen in the one-bedroom unit.

Great little place to stay at during our visit to Lake Tekapo. With a quiet neighbourhood and beautiful views. It snowed while we were there, which was fantastic! We found the place to be nice and warm and the bed to be comfortable as well as the bathroom is great! Downsides were that some of the dishes were not clean, which put us off. Also someone had cooked curry in the microwave so it stunk out the microwave as well as half of the place smelt of curry. I would love to stay here again but expect that since a cleaning fee is paid that the placed is cleaned better.

The room was large and clean. There was a sofa bed in the living room that could accommodate five or six people. We caught fish at the salmon factory and cooked them in the kitchen at night. It was delicious.

The room is very clean and the surrounding environment is also good. The air conditioner has not been cleaned. I cleaned one for him. You should also clean it when you go. There are two houses in one door. Because we took a night flight and rushed all the way, we went to bed early. The neighbors came in the middle of the night. There was no sound insulation when opening and closing the door. Oh, it was very tiring. And the price-performance ratio is also low. You should compare carefully.

A newly built residence, well appointed for families with 4 bedrooms, parking for 2 vehicles, very warm and cosy. Another plus, Two living areas so kids can settle and watch tv or play games in one whilst adults socialise in the main living area. Plenty of heating, plenty of blankets, no-one was cold. Highly recommend!

Self-service check-in, the place is not easy to find, it still took a long time to find it following the navigation and looking at the map. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Cons:
The wifi password was handwritten badly and it was a guessing game to get the password. Also uncontactable via email.
No barricade around the house and there’s other houses right next door. People could walk by your room / house windows and peer in. Which was what happened to me twice. Zero privacy unless curtains are fully drawn.

FFayreWe are couple with a 5 year old girl. We paid SGD697.85 (Singapore dollar) for staying 2 nights in this “2 bedroom apartment” as stated.
3 points here to explain the terrible experience.
1. tv remote is not working. I don’t mind the owner making excuse like “ replied customer’s message within 20mins…..” but they actually took 29mins to reply (19:10 till 19:39). In fact, they didn’t manage to change the tv remote in the end. So I stayed 2 nights without using the TV!
2.there is no clear and obvious description that this “2 bedroom apartment” is actually an adjoining unit which means when u walked into the front door then there are 2 doors link to split parts of the apartment. The problem of adjoining units are thin walls are used to split the apartment into 2 small units. When u stay in this kind of apartment, u have to endure all kind of noises from whoever staying in neighboring rooms. We had 2 days enduring guesting from the other room shouting, slamming the door, kids screaming like crazy both early in the morning and afternoon!
3. When I reflect this bad experience with trip.com customer service, this hotel responded like they have no fault at all and played with words. This attitude makes us feel like being fooled. We paid money to expect to stay in an apartment with privacy and quiet environment but indeed we had such a bad experience!
In this market, if it’s an adjoining unit, they should not charge at the rate as if it’s an entire apartment.
I’m alright that they rejected to refund the extra amount they charged. Just have to reflect the facts in the review.

玫玫萱The hotel sign is not obvious. You need to pay attention to it to find out. Uncle Maori called me by the name and checked in for me because I stayed two nights and upgraded my suite with living room, dining room, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. Just leave the key on the door when you leave
The hotel is right next to the lake, with beautiful scenery and superb lake views, and the starry sky at night.
The car is parked in the hotel, free of charge throughout the day, 🈶️ 2 queen beds, bath products, hair dryer, kettle, microwave, stove, towels, slippers, no toothpaste and toothbrush. The New Zealand steak is good, and I cook it every night for dinner. There is free coffee and tea bags, and drinking coffee every day feels good.
Just walk past the Church of the Good Shepherd, just go out to the lake, and check the starry sky at the Church of the Good Shepherd at night. It ’s beautiful! It's not far to the shops and supermarkets by car, it should be 10 minutes on foot
The hotel does not include breakfast. I made sandwiches myself and checked out at 10 am
