We also asked them to make sure that the taxi driver who picked us up from the station was safe and had a work permit. All of our messages were replied to within seconds or minutes. During our stay, they provided a lot of free mineral water bottles, which was very important for us, so we never ran out of water. They also provided very good and complete amenities. On the first night, the floor heater in our room was not working, so they gave us an additional large heater, which made the room very warm and comfortable. They also provided drop off and pick up service to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, which really helped us, so we didn’t need to walk about 800 meters to 1 km in below-zero temperatures. They even helped us book a taxi when we were going back to the station. Although they missed our request for a bigger car (since there were four of us with big luggage), I understand that it was difficult to find that kind of car at that time. The driver who took us — I’m not sure, who he is, but I think he is the boss (since the staff, asked lots of questions to him)— could speak English quite well and understood us even though we spoke broken Chinese. They also gave us a late check out at 3pm Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying here. They treated us not just as guests or customers, but really cared about making sure we had the best experience while visiting Jiuzhaigou. The only downside of this hotel is that the bathroom is a bit small and there are no hooks to hang towels or clothes. However, this was not a big issue for us at all. I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel.
