I typically don't write reviews but the service was so good here during my stay that I'm making an exception.
1. The hotel staff picked us up at the train station upon our arrival, and also took us back there at the end of our stay, at no cost.
2. Every member of the staff has a great attitude, always smiling and ready to lend you a helping hand.
3. We didn't use them, though you can do your laundry (both washing machines and dryers are available). Detergent is free to use.
4. Breakfast is only worth it if included.
5. Rooms are clean and reasonably large. Two chairs are available even in the most basic rooms.
6. If you intend to travel outside the city, you can ask the front desk for recommendations, they'll put you in touch with a driver for hire.
All in all, it's extremely good value for money. It's the first time I experienced such type of service when the hotel room is only 200RMB a night!

When I first arrived at the hotel, I looked at the door a bit like a store. The parking was not in the hotel. The adjacent shops were all kinds of, and I was quite worried. Location: This hotel is 20 kilometers away from the city, not far, and can be reached in more than half an hour. The road from Huangtian is quite easy to walk. The hotel parking lot is at the entrance of the hotel. Just find a parking space and park in.
Lobby: It is quite large. The hotel lobby is on the right hand side of the door, and the hot spring entrance is on the left hand side. The front desk guy learned that it was my birthday on the day of check-in and said that there would be a surprise delivered to the room in the evening. I am looking forward to it.
Room: As the name suggests, the mountain view room has a balcony facing the mountain, and there is a large open space between the mountain and the balcony, so the privacy is OK. The room is quite large and the whole room is very new. There is a hot spring pool on the balcony. You can just boil water and put it in. It is best to put it in half an hour in advance. The pool is very deep. You can also put water in while waiting, and get some snacks to eat and drink next to it. The hotel sent a fruit milk in the afternoon. It is just that there is a lack of a dressing mirror outside the bathroom, which can be improved.
Hot spring: It's interesting to soak in the hot spring in the rain. The locker room at the hot spring center is very large. There are many cabinets as soon as you enter, and there are showers and hair dryers. After the locker room, you will reach the outdoor hot spring. The road before you get outdoors is indoors and you don't have to get wet in the rain. It's much better than the old hot spring in Luhua. The old hot spring had to go downhill and smelled like a pig pen. There are quite a lot of pools, and there is a large hot spring swimming pool in the middle. It is recommended to bring swimming goggles and a swimming cap. There is also a rockery on top, and there are several pools in the cave, with some lights. I still like the pools on the rockery. There are more than a dozen on it. The air is much fresher. You don't have to worry about getting wet in the rain when you nest in the rocks. The temperature is hot enough to soak. You can soak in the pool on the mountain in the afternoon of the day you check in, and soak in the pool next to the swimming pool after 9:30 the next morning, because the water on the mountain is still slowly draining in the morning, and the pools at the bottom of the mountain are full, so there are few people, which is just right. In the hot spring center, there is no other consumption except for the grilled sausage for 5 yuan each. The location is super good, opposite the Far East International stop to eat all the food. The room is spacious, the window is facing Lingfeng Mountain, the bathroom has a large water volume and is hot, the bath towel is super thick and comfortable (I want to buy it for my own use), there is a laundry room (washer + dryer). The downside is that the decoration is old and the lighting is not bright enough. The room is dim. The water on the other floor will massage.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived at the Secret Manor Hotel (Gao Shi Qi Yu Branch) in Huangyao Ancient Town, we first made tea by the stove. The tea made by the stove was given when we booked the hotel. There were also 3 sets of national costumes that could be borrowed for taking photos. Various scented teas, peanuts, longans, red dates and sugar oranges are also prepared for making tea around the stove. We stayed until 7pm before going out for dinner. Among them, I took pictures of various things in the hotel. The environment of the hotel is really beautiful. This is the former residence of celebrities and is adjacent to the Dragon Claw Banyan Tree. It took three years to build by Greek designer Ulrica and was only completed in November 2023. It is a unique Chinese and Western double courtyard building in the ancient town, with large terrace rooms, French restaurant, multi-functional conference hall, and closed operation. There are 12 Each of the different guest rooms has been fully occupied these days. There are three peacocks, a blue cat, and a goldfish pond in the yard. The children love to see them. I really like that every corner of this hotel can be photographed. I took a lot of photos during my stay. The environment is very clean and tidy, and the facilities and equipment are new and brand-name. There are electric toilets, washing machines with dryers, etc. The toiletries are also brand-name and very useful. The proprietress and Abu were both kind and enthusiastic, answering all questions and very patient. Abu even wrote a card and placed it in the guest room, making people feel that this is a very warm and comfortable hotel.

CChristopher AlvinThis hotel is very good indeed. The room is extraordinarily large and well presented in wooden finish. It is exceptionally clean with a large bathroom that offers everything I could require.
The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Often, I would find that they had anticipated a question or need.
The breakfast is very basic and functional with fried noodles, boiled eggs, Baozi (steamed buns) and Zhou (rice porridge), plus tea. Personally, I liked it a lot but I could imagine many travelers finding it too basic for their taste.
I love staying here and do so whenever in Hezhou.
