"This was one of the best yha we have stayed at. The room was bare but that is to be expected. The amenities, by contrast, were excellent: Two well appointed kichens with nice pans and plenty of space; A roof area and multiple living room areas; an herb garden and plenty of recycling areas; and the games and TV area looked brand new and not old and worn out . The kids enjoyed it and so did we. Highly recommended."

However, the heating system was insufficient—while the living room had heating, the bedroom lacked proper heating, leaving us feeling quite cold at night. Additionally, the bedroom curtains did not fully block out light, so bringing an eye mask is highly recommended for a good night's sleep. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. The accommodation is in a very convenient location, with all shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance.

"We stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor.
However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night.
Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay.
While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests."

Both of us very satisfied this stay will recommend to others who going to apollo bay. The bathtub got the massage function as well.

Complimentary laundry - with a washing machine IN the apartment and a shared dryer! - was a bonus, and the rooms, living, room, kitchen, and deck were very spacious. The walk to Marengo Beach wasn’t too bad along the busy road but be careful with little ones. It’s not a swimming beach but still had a great time getting our ankles wet; you need a car to get to Apollo Bay.

HHong YiRoom was really spacious and kitchen came with basic seasoning namely salt and pepper. There were tons of cockatoos on the porch in the morning so it can be a bit noisy but most people would usually be up by then so it should be fine.

SSisixiong阿波羅灣是我們一家這次自駕大洋路的行程中停留時間最長的一個小鎮。這座小木屋我們一家五口，兩個大人三個孩子連住了三晚，除了因為附近景色優美，更主要的是這裏提供自行車、小船、釣魚竿、高爾夫球桿等，可以去附近的球場、海邊玩兒，每天我們都玩的很開心！主人Amanda和她的一位朋友在打理這些木屋，人很好，可以給客人提供很多幫助。對於在國內城市生活的我們，用壁爐燒木頭取暖真是非常有趣的體驗！
