Losmen Shenzhen

The location was ideal for us as we went to a friends’ birthday party on the beach down the road. The Inn is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the beach. The room was decent, the staff were amazing and helpful—recommended food places and activities in the area, and even carried our bags up to the 4th floor for us. We do recommend bringing your own towels; however, basic toiletries are provided. Overall, it was the perfect place for us to stay and our friends who stayed in the neighbouring room said the same. We will stay there again if we’re visiting the area.

A great place to stay right in Dapeng Fortress if you want to experience staying in an actual historical house. We really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay at Buyan Inn. The host, Tony was very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. We managed to contact him through Wechat about our arrival and he walked out to meet us to show us the way to the inn when we arrived by DiDi. The inn is in the old Town but just a 1 minute walk out so it was very convenient for foreign travellers who don't have their own transportation. Buyan Inn also has a restaurant. We tried the barbecue and it was delicious. There are many snack shops in the old Town. We also wanted to try some traditional food and found a traditional restaurant where the locals go to for meals just outside the old Town, a few minutes' walk from Buyan inn. All in all, we had a very memorable stay in Buyan Inn.

The stay was good, with good facilities and comfortable room, although it looks slightly old. Close to the beach area and ancient city, many restaurants around the area, friendly receptionist as well as the people living around the area. The backyard was a bit dirty, mainly due to the tree next to it dropping leaves and other stuff. The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear what's happening outside. It's manageable for a short stay, but i wouldn't recommend it for a long-term stay. Also it can be difficult to get a taxi from the area to the city center or far places, the waiting time can be really long. So if you are in a rush, it's better to call for a taxi 30 minutes or more before your departing time.

The second time to stay in this place, everything is great, the weather was good, there were many places where you can walk and eat. The hotel is clean, the shower room is air-conditioned, which allows you to take a shower in warmth. We enjoyed the surf while sitting on the balcony. The owner of the hotel made a small barbecue in the evening, we baked shrimp. On the roof there is a large attic in the open air, a great place to watch the sunset, you can also make a barbecue here. Thank you for a good stay! The owner of the hotel speaks English, it is very convenient.
