We would give the cabin a poor rating and the restaurant/ lodge an excellent rating. The cabin was really small, cramped, and dark, thankfully there was a small front porch so we could sit outside. The cabin was technically "in the woods" but it was also right off the highway and we could see and hear trucks driving by all night. The location was 1/2 way between Banff and Lake Louise, so not very convenient to either place. We paid close to $400 a night US and were extremely disappointed. .
On the other hand, the restaurant was fabulous! We had dinner there both nights, the food was amazing, cooked to perfection and beautiful presentation. Really nice staff and great ambience, would highly recommend booking dinner reservations at Storm Mountain Lodge and staying somewhere else.
