Okay there are good points and bad points to a stay at the Diva hotel I will start with the good points and then the bad points. The good points, All the staff are great at the Diva hotel and nothing is too much trouble for them, we arrived in the early hours 2.30am and check in was quick and smooth although we had to wait until the next morning to rent a safety deposit box. I had emailed the hotel requesting a double bed and balcony which we were granted plus they put a bottle of red wine and 2 glasses in our room as I had informed the hotel, we would be celebrating our wedding anniversary whilst staying at the Diva so that was a nice touch. The standard rooms are extremely small and tired but they are clean so that didn't bother us as we only use the room to sleep and shower in plus the fridge in the room worked well. The rooms although small and tired are kept clean by the maids who did a great job, and they were also very understanding when I was pretty much room bound due to illness through our 2nd week. I read one previous review that said that on their checkout day they weren't made aware that check out was 12pm and that on their return to the hotel after going out they found their bags dumped outside the hotel? I don't understand this review as there is a big sign at the reception desk stating that checkout is 12pm and we had no such issues at all, we spoke to the very helpful receptionist on the morning of our checkout day and she informed us that we could keep the room on until 4pm for £10 if we wished or if not that we could leave our cases etc in the hotel reception area near her desk but to take any valuable items and passports out with us which we did. Location is great, the Diva hotel is right in the middle of the resort and very close to the beach, unfortunately though it does come at a cost which I will get onto later in my review. Diva bar is very nice and friendly with reasonably priced drinks and great bar staff too, food can be ordered at the bar, but it appears that the food is provided by another hotel or bar down the road once ordered. The bad points, The bathrooms in the standard rooms are small and strangely set out, the bathroom door has to open onto the toilet, so you have to stand in the shower cubicle to shut the bathroom door after you have entered. Also, if you want a hot or even warm shower you need to get one before 7.45am each morning and before 5pm each evening otherwise you can pretty much expect a cold shower as there will be no hot water. The double bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable and both me and my wife suffered aching limbs and backache throughout our stay. One of the worst bad points with Diva hotel apart from the bed is the fact that the balcony windows and balcony door are all single glazed glass with metal frames and the balcony door although fully functional doesn't fit the door frame very well so basically all the outside noise sounds like it is right there inside your room day and
