L'Etoile Hotel - All Inclusive

We arrived at the hotel around 3am after a long transfer, dropping off at 6 other hotels. We were met by the bellboy (sorry, can't remember his name.) The coach can't stop at the front door as the road is blocked off a few meters away. However we were helped with our cases to the reception and booking in was easy. We were offered a little biscuit (very dry) and taken to our room on the first floor. We were shown the safe in the wardrobe which is operated with a key instead of a code. The only coathangers were the ones left by previous guests, you may want to take extra. The room was quite basic and could do with upgrading. There are only two electrical outlets, so you may need an extention lead. Our room overlooked the pool and the road beyond, but there was no noise apart from the odd motorcyle. The hotel is spotless and the staff excellent. We only saw our maid once in the 10 days of our stay, but our room was cleaned every day as if by magic, fresh towels, bedding etc. The bathroom was on the small side with a walkin shower but it too was kept spotless. The dining areas are well laid out, tables for two or four but the staff are more than happy to accomodate larger groups, pushing tables together. They would always serve water on arrival and drinks were offered. Often drinks would be offered as soon as we arrived! (wonder what that said about us) There is also an overflow dining area which was beginning to be used towards the end of our stay as the hotel got busier. The hot food was always hot and a good variety, chicken, fish pasta and lots of lovely fruit and desserts. There is a good selection of drinks on offer, beer, wine and cocktails and no limit on how many you can get at one time. There is an ice cream/ patisserie in the main area which is open and free from 2pm till 9pm, great for the little ones (and the big ones too) The pool area is kept clean with plenty sunbeds and parasols. The parasols were changed for prettier new ones but the slightest breeze blew them over. The entertainment team consisted of the lovely Maria and Mario who did their utmost to get everyone involved in crazy darts and water aerobics, great if that's your thing. Entertainment on the whole wasn't great, the usual childrens set then some local dance acts. The location of the hotel is ideal both for nearby shops, restaurants and bars and also the beach. You can go from the back of the hotel, through the bar, Pier 15 and even stop for a drink. We took the water taxi across from here, to Marmaris, 200 lira each, which takes around 40mins and nice for a change. The only problem was the temperature hit 41 degrees that day so after a browse in the air conditioned bazars it was back on the bus! We had a lovely holiday but don't think we would go back, simply because of the length of the transfer, over 2 hours and more if there are multiple drop offs.

The staff are all helpful and work very hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The food choice is great, something for everyone. The cleaners are very efficient, both rooms and communal areas. The location is great, next to the beach and central for everything else.

The rooms are standard, food is catered more for other cultures which is not suitable for others who dislike certain foods. The entertainment is particularly provided for children mainly as there are children discos and activities which all ends by 9:30. However, I would not recommend this hotel as me and my partner came for 7 days and on our final full day, staff approached us regarding the fact we had both a t-shirt on in the pool due to being severely sunburnt then asked for our room number in order to speak to the travel agency we booked with.

I went early season for a quick trip with my adult daughter. Staff were very pleasant and friendly, especially in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very well situated. The food was good with lots of choice even for picky eaters, although a few more vegetarian choices would have been good for my daughter. Our room was very nice, but we were on the 1st floor close to the outdoor bar area, so it was quite noisy until at least 1am. The pool area was nice but the music is definitely too loud! Also, we were there early May, and although there was no problem getting sun loungers I can imagine it would be a different story at the height of the season. We walked into Marmaris along the coastal path, which was lovely. It took about 1 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace and then we caught the water taxi back from the harbour which takes you to the jetty just in front of the hotel. We also went on a boat trip to Turtle Beach and the mud baths, which was a lovely day out.

Stayed here for 10 days, we had an amazing time! Food was lovely and that’s coming from a fussy eater.. always a choice! The entertainment team are amazing so friendly and funny (Mario and Maria) we have loved every minute and can’t wait to come back already!

Amazing hotel but the main two people were Maria and mario the entertainment team both always happy and smiling and Maria is an amazing young woman and we would come back just to see her food was nice plenty to chose from rooms cleaned daily and a small walk to shops

Hi, having read previous negative reviews I thought I would make my own mind up. Myself and my 2 sons arrived 26 May for 10 nights. We arrived at midnight, swift check in, Tarzan took our bags up to our suite, imagine our surprise! Room 301, beautiful. Next day by the pool, if you want a sunbed by the pool normally towels down by 7ish, but there's no bun fight lol..the food was 1st class honestly, hot food in the outside dining room, the salads were amazing, the desserts top notch. The catering staff and waiting staff are to be highly commended. They work so hard. Sonia was our waitress, she never stopped. So warm & friendly, very professional all of them. The cleanliness of the rooms was to be commended as well, fresh towels, warm staff, cleaned thoroughly, little decorations on the bed, just lovely..x The weather was incredible so hot, we spent most of it on the beach ⛱ straight through the outside dining space & it's just across the road. The beds/umbrellas are free for hotel guests..bonus. Visit Turunç Village on a Monday, market day by boat 400 lira each return. Book at the beach. The entertainment guys, so friendly..yeah sometimes the music was a little loud, but Mario played a nice mix for all ages..the entertainment was good, you don't often get this in hotels, so it was nice to see. The clubs kick out at 3.30am I remember it well ha..just people enjoying themselves, you're on holiday remember! Would I return? Yes I def would thank you to everyone x

My daughter and I stayed a week at the L,etoile Hotel Icemala. From start to finish the Hotel Met every experience expectation . When we arrived early hours of the morning Kazim carried our bags to our room . This has never happened before at any hotel .. The staff at the Hotel are very friendly and go above and beyond to communicate. Shamus,Mamut,Tanner and Yasim made sure our tables where spotless clean and where always around to help . The food was top class all the chiefs work extremely hard to cater for a large amount of people which is to be commended .. The chose was endless . Fresh salads , soup , fresh meats hot and cold , pasta . Pizza the food was incredible .. The bars had plenty of drinks which where available all day . Ice Cream and biscuits teas and coffees available .. Value for money.. We met the animation team who where really good . Providing a variety of music to suit every taste . It must be difficult to please everyone’s needs. There was quieter times as well for people who may like an afternoon sleep . Mario, Ozzy and Maria made us feel so welcome. Great fun great entertainment. I loved the aqua gym .. I wish it could of been on longer and more than one session .. as I enjoyed it so much . Dalira the guest service manager was so professional and so where all the reception staff .. The rooms where spotless . Fresh bedding towels and even bottles of water in the fridge , and free safe in the room .. I thoroughly enjoy the whole of my holiday . I would recommend this Hotel . And will be returning again . Really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Kazim took us to our room and helped us with our bags when we arrived which was good. The food was nice, with plenty of options. The staff in the restaurant are very pleasant and bring water to the table. Especially shemus and mahmout. Room was nice and comfortable. They provided bottled water in the room every day and fresh towels. The Wifi is good but sometimes the connection drops and you have to re connect. The entertainment of an evening was really good, they have acts on every night ey Turkish dancers, Latin dancing. Through the day they have darts, aqua gym, killer pool. Music was good, it’s more chilled through the day and turns off at 11 so it doesn’t disturb your sleep. Mario, Maria and Ozzy got everyone involved which was really good.
