Playa Bella Apartments

Great base for a 4 night stay in Ibiza in the very last week of the season 27-31 October. I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough going on. There were many places already closed but still a handful of places you could get food and drinks just a 5 min walk away. Very clean hotel, staff helpful and friendly and they’d made the effort to put Halloween decorations up for the kids. Both onsite restaurants do great food reasonably priced. Never had a bad meal and piping hot. Pool was quite cold but it didn’t stop my son! Lovely views across the bay but the water taxi was no longer operating so we got the L8 bus which was also super easy!

Arrive here 25/10/24 on arrival after having an early flight we just wanted to get to the room yet was told we had to wait until 3pm for check in. Nowhere in the documents did it state this before arriving. So we put our bags in the baggage area and went for a walk. The room *** actually was right ontop of the family next door like there's no wall etc in-between so no private at all. There was also a chipped glass in the room and all paint work by the air con all chipping away. Other than this the room was OK. The key to open the door to block 5 was a pain as sometimes it wouldn't work. Food at the hotel was nice especially the breakfast and good value. The beach right outside the hotel stank of waste and was black. Water taxi was fun yet couldn't get a return due to it being their last day and changed times to suit them. 5 euros each in October yet before this it was 3 euros. Cool cafe down the road was excellent for food and also Johnny's along with great music. Most things were all closed. I would give hotel for this time of year a 3 star and that's due to the fantastic bar staff and breakfast. Right next door is an eye sore with the abandoned building

The 3 bedroom apartment was great! Lots of room and a sea view. The upstairs neighbours were noisy, but that wasn’t the fault of the complex. Entertainers were okay and once they had finished, it was a quiet spot. Fantastic staff in reception, really helpful and knowledgeable. We ate in the cafe nearest reception on the last day and the food was excellent. Plenty of sun beds but you need to be quick to get a parasol. It was clean and comfortable and we highly recommend it!

Myself, my partner and our 2 young boys (6 and 18m) stayed here for a week at the start of August. This was our first self catering holiday so we were a little apprehensive but we needn’t of been! We had a fabulous holiday here, we really didn’t want to leave! The hotel itself is in a great location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The little round kids pool was brilliant, our kids splashed around in there pretty much all day everyday! The splash park was good too although my 6 year old said it was a little chilly lol. The beach is good, it’s not massive but for us was fine as we don’t spend all day on it anyway. We caught the water taxi into San Antonio one evening to watch the sunset and that was amazing. Well worth doing! The restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced and the food was tasty! Although we did eat in a few different places nearby too. Our room was clean and perfectly comfortable for what we needed, the balcony was huge! Clean linen and towels provided every other day. I would 100% stay here again, thank you for having us!

Another great family holiday. This hotel is great everything you need on Your doorstep. Friendly helpful staff as well. Both hotel restaurants have great food and a really good variety of choice at a good price. Special thanks to the two ladies running the kids club. Our daughters before the holiday we’re not sure about going to kids club and by the end loved it. They had a variety of different activities for the kids and were very friendly and do a great job. Also the management team were great to give us a similar room as last time as we requested with a nice view and a bottle of wine for our anniversary. I would suggest going to Cala pinet beach as it is 5 minutes away and a really great beach with sunbeds available to hire. Also the tapas restaurant down the road called relish is some of the best tapas I have ever had we went more than once in the end as it was so good.

This was our third time staying at the Playabella beach ️ apartments and again we had a great holiday. The food in both restaurants is very good! And the staff friendly. We eat in the restaurants and we all bought takeout. Sitting eating there looking over the bay... well what's not to like. The view is stunning! The cleanliness of the whole complex is top notch. The pool area is very well maintained. And does not open till 9 O'clock, which means there is no rush in the morning. Plus there are always plenty of sun beds available throughout the day. The apartments have everything you need for a lovely stay. With various shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Our favourite is the Chinese We felt that the surrounding area was looking a bit shabby and rundown. Sadly there were a few more restaurants and shops closed. But that's doesn't take anything away from the Playabella. We enjoyed Reggie Reggie beach. ️ Its only a short stroll round the bay. There's a few nice bars, a large water slide a some water sports. It's definitely worth a visit. You can get the boat ️ from the neighbouring hotel. Which takes you over to San Antonio town. The night time entertainment is pretty good. Sitting at the sea front with strawberry daiquiris, listening to some music just finished off my day. ( we did try and miss baby shark at the end of the kids disco ) There are two Palm trees in the pool are, at the shallow end. I don't know how he done it. But if there is still a ball stuck in there. It's my son's ‍♀️ cracking shot! Will we return again, maybe not next year but I would highly recommend it and might return in the future.
