From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were royalty! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The room itself was luxurious and comfortable, with all of the amenities you could want from a five-star hotel.

This hotel was recommended by a friend for their location and their breakfast buffet but everything about our experience exceeded expectations and was beyond 5 star! We went on our honeymoon to Spain earlier in May. We stayed at 5 star hotels in Barcelona, Ibiza and Madrid. I told all of them that it was our honeymoon in the notes section of the reservation, but the Ibiza Gran was the only hotel that made us feel special about it. Gustavo did an amazing job at showing us our room amenities. He made me want to clap with the way he opened the curtains to show us the the view of Old Town Ibiza - we upgraded to the Panoramic Junior Suite and it was so worth it! Then he asked why we were visiting and we said our honeymoon, he said "oh ok, the hotel must be doing something special for you then"...as he walked us to the entrance of our room and showed us a display of champagne on ice, chocolates, balloons and a note from the GM thanking us for choosing to stay there. Some how Gustavo managed to make us miss this when we walked in, or he had some undercover help, either way it was such a beautiful surprise! The TV in the room said welcome Mr & Mrs ***, another great touch. But here's the real kicker! They surprised us by offering to drive us to dinner in the hotels Bentley car service. No where on their website is this advertised so we were in total AWE! They have one Bentley and I chose early May to avoid the crowds, and I'm so grateful of this because we were able to get dropped off in a Bentley every time we left the hotel. Luis was so great at arranging this and Javi was a fun driver with great music. The buffet lived up to it's reputation, but again it was the combination of the staff, toiletries in the room, the view and location, the Bentley car service and their attention to detail! We will stay here every time we come to Ibiza!!!

Do yourself a favor and add Ibiza Gran Hotel to your must stay list in Ibiza! The property is ideally located near all of the action, yet it feels like a private sanctuary at the same time. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the food! The property has some of the best cuisine I’ve experienced at any hotel in Spain with an abundance of restaurant options. Also, the new Open Spa is incredible, the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the island. I already can’t wait to return to Ibiza Gran Hotel! :)

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Ibiza Gran. It started with a gracious welcome from Pedro at reception. I was nervous about the hotel because of the Ibiza reputation (and reality) for being a non stop party destination but our room was quiet and had black out curtains that really helped us sleep. The king size matrass in our Junior Suite was very comfortable. To a person, every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast might be the best breakfast I have ever had at anywhere. I particularly liked that they have numerous non-breakfast items available. Is is an expensive hotel but they deliver value with the quality of the restaurants, pools, bars, and the helpfulness of the staff. It is clear that the great service is instilled in the staff and I really cannot see from my experience how The Ibiza Gran would ever get a bad review.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Ibiza Gran... probably the best hotel on the island. From the first greeting by the friendly and efficient reception staff , to the beautiful hotel interior and the immaculate and generously appointed bedrooms. The two pools are immaculate with polite attentive staff catering to your every needs. The breakfast is absolutely exceptional and not to be missed...!! Completely deserved of the 5 star lux rating..... Enjoy. Chilled relaxed atmosphere Great Central Location Walking distance to everything Courtesy car to airport Adult pool area for quiet relaxation

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Service was all of 5 stars. Location was great. Food great. Room was beautiful. There’s not one bad thing I can say about this place it’s that beautiful. Ivan the driver of the Bentley car they have was super helpful all the time we had him drive us as we’re the front desk staff.

The hotel is as expected for a 5* rating. Staff are very professional. The breakfast is the best I've experienced from any hotel. Special shout out to Caesar that works in the upstairs pool area. Excellent communicator and attentive. He inspired us to come back after last year. Top bloke😌

This was our first time in this excellent hotel. And what a great experience it was. The attention to detail and the attention the staff gives a guest is very high. I love it when everything it just right. The breakfast is one of the best I have experienced. The room (we had the junior suite) was big, clean and had a great view on the old city. The location is very good with the harbor close and the old city in walking distance. We will be back soon!!

Every time we come to Marina Botafoc, we pass by the Spa of the Gran Hotel, We want to congratulate you for the visible change this year: a clean, quiet and organized Spa, the new staff is really friendly, the director Joya told us ’ about the upcoming renovations, we are looking forward to seeing the new Spa. This is a superior 5 star deluxe hotel located on the outskirts of Ibiza town. While the location was not perfect it’s only a 15 minute walk into town. Hotel from outside is big and not pretty but inside it’s a beautiful luxurious hotel. Rooms r amazing- we had a hot tub on balcony whilst some of r colleagues had a bath tub in the middle of their room! Breakfast was stunning - if u left dining room hungry then it was totally ur fault! To sum up - a stunning beautiful hotel and I would return in a heartbeat!!❤️❤️

I stayed in the Ibiza Gran with a friend - he had a room (over looking the back / canal) and I had a suite overlooking the pool. We both had a wonderful time. The staff are extremely polite and attentive; the hotel and its grounds have a luxury feel; the restaurants have excellent food and service (breakfast, Zuma and Novikov). The soundproofing in the rooms is brilliant too and the beds are very large and comfortable. Amazing location, only a 15min stroll to Ibiza town and right opposite Pacha, yet the hotel felt very peaceful and quiet. Tips for future visitors: the rooms (as opposed to the suites) that overlook the back - the view is not good, but the room is still very nice - it didn't bother my friend as he still enjoyed having a lovely room to sleep/shower in. I had a balcony overlooking the pool, and I personally did prefer that. Secondly, as other reviews / photos indicate, the suites do have the bathroom in the room with the shower / toilet in cubicles off of it. I'm not a fan of this but I was in the room on my own so it didn't bother me. If I visit Ibiza again, I would like to stay here - we felt its the best option and one of the nicest hotels either of us have stayed in.

This is my first review on TripAdvisor. I am lucky enough to travel frequently abroad and spend time at top rated 5 star chains (Four Seasons, Mandarin my most frequent choices). In the past 10 years I have been visiting with my wife Ibiza Gran Hotel at least once a year, including one week this year and last year in August. Although this hotel is not brand new it is perfectly maintained and it has always delivered an excellent service for few very simple but paramount aspects: - rooms: are large above average and kept carefully cleaned. The staff is ready to clean the room any time you ask (quite frequently I asked to re-do the turn down service). Also, rooms are very silent, air conditioning is also very silent and the bed is very large and comfortable with high quality linens - breakfast: this hotel has probably one of the best breakfast offers I have ever experienced plus the staff is professional, very quick, very nice and the breakfast is open until late (11:00), avoiding the typical stress I have when breakfast is going to close and I have to wake-up earlier than wanted. - staff: the staff is nice, smiling and the concierge is also helpful, kind and precise (special mention to Sergio and the Experience Team) This is has been experience, and it has been like this consistently for 10 years or so….that’s why Gran Hotel is my home in Ibiza.

I like to say about myself that I am not pretentious. I have traveled all over the world and met all types of hotel employees. But the situation that happened to me in this hotel is by far the worst so far. I received as a gift an extended weekend in a suite room. Right from the beginning I felt a strange smell in the room, there must have been a party there, it actually smelled like vomit. The child felt sick immediately, I went to the reception to ask them to check and change the room. No one wanted to help, they said that I can't change the room and adapt because life is hard. The room cost over 1300 euros / night. I asked him once again to come check the room and make a decision afterwards. They didn't care. I asked for a manager to come but the receptionist started yelling at me that if it doesn't suit me I should go to another hotel. Of course I had to argue with him in front of all the tourists, but he didn't care. They don't care about tourists, they don't care about image, about anything. In the end, a manager came and said that there was no way to change the room because the hotel was full, but he made me understand that if I give a "bonus", it is possible. I do not agree with these practices at all and I reacted immediately. Of course, when he saw that I would not give anything, he was no longer interested in the smell in the room, the fact that the bed was stained, that in the bathroom there were clearly traces of a "party" with young people. In the end, he agreed to change the room, only on the 2nd day, but he wanted to convey to everyone that he must make my life difficult in the hotel. No one responded to requests, not a taxi, not a bar, not a spa...actually I felt extremely stupid. I am so disgusted by this hotel and the people there that I have no words. I beg you, avoid this terrible place.

I wanted to stay 2 days at this hotel, but from the first moment I entered, I was hit by a strong smell in the reception. When I asked who I could discuss with to see a junior suite room, no one paid attention to me, they even told me in a gruff tone to take a seat until someone comes. I waited an extremely long time, a person who barely spoke English came, he told me that he didn't have time to show me too much and he gave me to understand that if I give him money, he can give me 10 minutes. I complied and went to a junior suite room, everything seemed very old, by no means as in the pictures. I asked if there was something better, he told me that if it doesn't suit me, why am I wasting his time. It seemed totally rude to me and I asked to speak to the general manager. Annoyed, he took me to the reception again, in fact he went forward without caring where I was. After another long period of waiting, the general manager came, who started yelling at me as to why I am asking so many questions without paying anything. this hotel is effectively a place to extort money, they have no culture about customers. I immediately left there, it would never occur to me to stay at this hotel. only lies and pictures that have nothing to do with reality avoid this hotel and interaction with these arrogant people at all costs

The hotel was a complete disappointment. The rooms were ugly, scratched, and dirty. Everything seemed old and neglected. I asked to change my room, and the reception manager was unprofessional and arrogant. I was promised a beautiful view, but I had an ugly sight behind the hotel. The experience was disappointing, especially since I was there in August 2023. I do not recommend this place.
