Shiretown Inn & Suites

Good, clean spot to get a good night sleep. Not noisy. I had a little trouble figuring out the thermostat but eventually managed. Friendly front desk.

I had trouble finding my room as there were no lights outside to show the different complexes and the main door to get in to my building itself had no lights at all. In the dark it could be a hazardous walk to and from the building at night.

The bathroom was dirty, the shower walls hadn't been cleaned and there was a soap wrapper on the top edge of the shower wall.

Do to illness we had to extend our stay. Linda and Heather were very helpful and kind in helping us with that. Will recommend staying here.

Gave our room away and gave us a lesser one and wouldn’t refund the difference… slept in tiny beds in a smoky room.

Old, needs update, pricey for what you get. Disappointed & won’t stay there again

The room was extremely dated and had a funky smell to it. Fixtures were deteriorating and showed signs that they allowed smoking in the room at one time. The toilet in the bathroom had a slow leak so it would refill the tank every 10 minutes. The mattress and pillows felt like they had not been replaced in years. We left after one night and went to another hotel.

It was fine but the A/C unit keeps shutting off and the room was warm and uncomfortable to sleep , but the restaurant and bar was great.

The hotel staff were very nice and professional. The accommodations are clean and basic. The gym and pool were both closed “due to COVID restrictions.” I found this odd since the PHE was declared “over” on May 11th. The restaurant attached the hotel was open though. I had been looking forward to a good workout and some time in pool after a long day of driving.
