AAndrew McDReally enjoyed our stay at the Mari. Comfortable and clean room, with a nice breakfast option downstairs. Was able to store our cycles in the car park. Staff were pleasant. Would recommend.

It’s a great location in the small town close to lots of restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were kind and let me stir my bike safely inside. Excellent value for money

LLilNeeded a place to start when we came to visit a friend in Chungju. Easy check-in and check-out. Clean room with essentials provided, including hair gel and hairspray. Queen size bed. There’s a TV and PC, they are connected, watched Netflix.

RrobwardleThe room is huge and the bed was very comfortable. There is also comfy seating in the room. The bathroom was very clean and good quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it’s near to the bike path, I was able to store my bike safely inside. It’s a novel looking building outside but very smart inside. Highly recommend, excellent value for money

GGuest UserIt is practically on the 4 River Trail. You can park the bike in the garage and the room is directly above. All you can want is available. To foot you get quickly to restaurants and a supermarket.
What you should know is that there are no walls in the room: bathroom, shower, toilet and bed are in a room.

The air conditioner was not cool, but the fan was turbo cool.
Good hot spring water
The owner is very friendly, the breakfast is good
I especially like the bed mattress, the 5-star level quilt, the old grandma quilt
Have a good rest ^^

CCCS2022Motel is opposite Zhongzhou Station. Check-in Yazhu is very good. I know that there is a bicycle. I find a place to put it. There are restaurants, cafes and convenience stores near the hotel for a few minutes! Although it is a motel, it does not feel inconvenient. The service has popcorn to eat!

CCayaThis was a nice little budget motel in Chungju. Not too far from the bus terminal, it was surrounded by other hotels and restaurants.
The staff was friendly, but didn’t speak any English. The rooms were clean and spacious, and everything was well-maintained. They even gave you a little travel bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc in case you forgot something. The beds were the hard Korean style, which might not be compatible with some westerners preference, but the linens were clean and the bed was in good shape.
My only complaint would be the temperature. It was winter time, but with the ondol floor turned up at full blast, the room felt like I was sleeping outside in the summer. I couldn’t find the controls for the ondol floor in the room, so I had to open the window a crack in the dead of window to moderate the temperature somewhat. But given the price and the quality of room, I’d recommend in the future

LLilWas put in a room without a working air conditioner. It was only blowing on fan mode.
Elevator was under construction. They said they would change my room the next day but didn’t stay long enough, decided to keep biking the next day.
