Hotel dekat Pali Highway, Honolulu

Stayed here for the second time. It was as good as before✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧ The hotel is on one side of Waikiki Beach, and you can walk to Waikiki Beach. On the other side is Ala Monma Shopping Center, which is just across the bridge. Next to the hotel is the Hertz car rental pick-up point, which is very convenient. Especially suitable for people who don't want to sleep lightly and don't want to be noisy by the Waikiki Beach. I booked a sea view room. Opposite is the pier where various boats are docked⛵️. The view is very good. You can see surfers in the distance in the morning🏄 The hotel has a gym, but not many people. There is a swimming pool and an infinity pool/hot pool on the 5th floor, and there are singers singing. The vibe is very feel, and you can relax on the lounge chair next to it. Finally, a small complaint, Ctrip says it's a big bed OR a twin bed, and I was 🌚 assigned a twin bed and it was fully booked that day and couldn't be changed... Everything else is fine, very much in line with expectations. The check-in was a bit slow. What was encouraging was that the check-in lady sternly rejected the Korean couple who cut in line and told them to go and queue up👍 (speechless

The room felt a little old and dated (ex. noisy old air conditioner) but was comfortable, spacious and in a convenient location with a nice view! Paid extra for a parking space at about 28 dollars a day. Front desk was very kind! Wouldn't mind staying there again.

Our recent stay at Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu was a blend of highs and lows, with its strengths balanced by a few notable drawbacks. Situated in a reasonably good location and boasting cleanliness throughout, the hotel offered convenience and comfort in many aspects with a great pool and bar area including a separate adults pool. However, certain factors detracted from the overall experience, leaving us with mixed feelings about our time there. Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location, while not directly in the heart of the city hub, offered a decent compromise between convenience and tranquility. Close proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon provided easy access to beach activities and waterfront relaxation, adding a touch of serenity to our stay. Additionally, we found the hotel to be impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and a commi**ent to hygiene that was commendable. Despite these strengths, there were some notable downsides to our experience. The most significant inconvenience was the walking distance to the main city hub, which required a 15-20 minute walk to reach popular attractions, dining establishments, and shopping venues. While not a dealbreaker, this added a layer of logistical planning to our daily activities and limited spontaneity. Another issue that significantly impacted our stay was the persistent noise from the elevator. Unfortunately, our room was located close to the elevator, resulting in constant disturbances throughout the day and night. The loud mechanical noises disrupted our sleep and detracted from the overall ambiance of relaxation that we had hoped for. In summary, Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu offered a mix of positives and negatives during our stay. While the hotel's cleanliness and proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon were definite highlights, the walking distance from the city hub, the disruptive elevator noise, and having to pay for hotel parking detracted from the overall experience.

The location is very good. You can walk to the beach to watch the fireworks on Friday night. There is a bus directly to the airport. The overall environment of the hotel is also very good. The outdoor swimming pool is beautiful. The front desk guy is very considerate and asked us where we were from and used Google Translate to communicate with us.

The room facilities are very good, clean and tidy. The room service is warm and considerate, the hotel has a good view, complete supporting facilities, and the hotel lobby staff is warm and thoughtful. The location is very good, close to the commercial street for shopping. I will choose to stay next time.

We had such a great time couple days the winds were high, but we didn’t let that spoil our vacation. The sun was out that’s the most important thing in the temperature was in the 70s and 80s and so perfect for people from Seattle Washington rainbows you know it’s a tropical area so the rainbows appear in the sky just so beautiful fireworks on Friday night was outstanding. Looks like all of Waikiki came to look And we stayed in the Tapa building and ocean view just outstanding. The restaurants to Bali was fabulous. The restaurants are on the street level was fantastic and we walked around the city and experience various type of cuisine. This is an outstanding vacation seven days and my wife and I are so glad that we have mobility and at our age so we could really enjoy the beach. Enjoy the catamaran enjoy just walking around the city shopping and so just outstanding. We look forward to another vacation like that. 

I have an issue with this hotel. The power went out. I use a medical device to sleep and I told him I cannot stay in the room to sleep first of all. There’s no air conditioner in Hawaii is very hot number two. I sleep with the medical CPAP machine, so I cannot sleep without that machine. How do they expect me to stay in this room? I checked out of the hotel they told me they would give me a full refund and now they are going back on their word and not refunding my money this is ridiculous.

Don’t expect much apart from the location. They should not call their kids paddling pool as a swimming pool, charging resort fee for just providing chairs and umbrella for you to take them all the way, 10mins of walk to a public beach.

A very good hotel with a great location. Luxury shops are within walking distance. The Roys restaurant next door is highly recommended and is ranked in the top 3 of Western restaurants I have eaten in many countries. The room facilities are very complete, with more wine utensils and tools than at home. They also thoughtfully prepared 2 plastic cups that can be carried with you. The washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all available. The room is also very large, but there is only one king-size bed. The temporary bed added in the living room is not very comfortable, and it is not convenient for 4 people to sleep.

I would like to stay here again when I come to Hawaii. The room was on the top floor overlooking the beach, had a comfortable living room and bedroom separated, and I could enjoy cocktails with music every day. Best of all, it was very accessible.
