I really liked the room and the breakfast, but the bathtub was a bit dirty unfortunately (I saw some dust when I turned on the tap). I wish there were more food choices for the breakfast too, like more cold cuts (they only had turkey ham and salami) and plain yogurt instead of packaged frozen yogurt. I prefer Hyatt centric’s buffet, but I guess for the price it’s not too bad. Also the desk light in my room wasn’t working for some reason. However I do recognise that demand to stay here is really high this season (even the lifts were full), so I understand if not everything is perfect.

Poor experience: very slow check-in because staff were very few. Waited in queue for some 15min or so. The room I had turned out to be a connected room with poor sound-proofing. The adjacent room was apparently occupied by a wedding party with at least 4-6 people, raising their voices and partying all night long. Tried to call guest service to complain but no one answered. The hotel used large bottles of shampoo and body wash fixed to the bathroom wall, presumably for environmental reasons, but they failed to refill the body wash enough for my 2-day use. Such a disappointing stay. Will not return.

Booked this hotel because we love Sha Tin a lot. They were attentive to the simple note I sent upon booking that it was our first time and it was for the kids to relax after exams. They gave us goodies (candies, chocolates, nuts) and stuffed toys for the kids. Rooms was clean and the kids enjoyed the bath tub and the outside pool (water was lukewarm, not cold)! View was also so good day and night. We will definitely come back!

I stayed for a night to cope with the renovation at home. The location is good; the hotel is basically right next to the University Station. I got a free upgrade to a room with sea view which was nice. But the service quality wasn’t as pleasant. I had to wait for 25mins after i made several phone calls requesting for utensils. It was slightly annoying to call for a few times just to get some basic service. The hotel room is decent in size but the facilities/ equipment are kind of old. I was shocked to see the old fashioned blowdryer.. the kind you’d have to keep pressing the ON button the entire time when you blow dry your hair..

The stay was wonderful! The staff was helpful and very friendly.
The breakfast buffet was a treat!
Depending on what you want to do in Hong Kong, the location might not be great... It's pretty far fro. Disneyland, airport, and the fioant Buddha. However, the hotel itself was great!

Really near to the MTR station although University station itself is quite far. The view is superb with beautiful sea view of the Tolo harbor. The room is sufficient large with bathtub inside. The wifi is enough in speed and stable when connecting. A good choice for both family travelling and business trips.
