During my recent stay in Saigon, I opted to stay at City View Hotel for a couple of days. While the hotel's location and view were definite highlights, I found that the overall room quality fell slightly short of expectations. Here's my review of City View Hotel Saigon. However, it's worth noting that while the view was enjoyable, the overall room quality left something to be desired. The accommodations were functional but lacked some of the modern amenities and attention to detail that would have elevated the experience. The rooms felt somewhat dated and could benefit from renovation or refurbishment to meet the expectations of today's travelers. That being said, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option for a short stay in Saigon, City View Hotel can provide a decent base. The staff members were generally helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process and offering assistance when needed. Great location but very difficult to find as hotel doesn’t come up on google maps. Room is spacious but could use some work as it isn’t very clean so be prepared

My family stayed here for 1 night on February 6, 2023. I have feedback from the hotel staff, They said that because there was no one to clean the room, it was dirty, often there was no one on duty at the front desk, and there was no security for the guests. hotel.Trip.com can send someone to the hotel to check. My family checked out this afternoon to travel to Phu Quoc, so I can't take pictures to send to trip.com

There were problems on check in with the receptionist saying I have no reservation and unable to find it. After half an hour of being told I need to solve problem he found the reservation within his system. Another customer also had similar problem. There is zero customer service. Wi-Fi not working. Used condom wrappers under bed I left after 1 night to another hotel where had no problems I don’t recommend people stay here

The room was dilapidated. At that time, I booked six rooms. I communicated with the owner and hoped that three rooms would be double-bed rooms, and the other three rooms would be two-single-bed rooms (because the advertisement stated that a double-bed room or two single-bed rooms were optional) . As a result, the owner gave them all double-bed rooms, saying that if they changed to a room with two single beds, they would have to charge another 200,000 for each room. Feeling pretty bad. Will not stay at this hotel again. The service, facilities and environment of this hotel are poor.

The hotel did a terrible job of checking in guests, but the room was not cleaned and there was trash on the bed. There were no lights on in the hallway, it was dark, and the way down the stairs was also very dirty and towels were thrown everywhere. The first time I asked to cancel my room, I changed it to a room that was n***a. Even the TV wouldn't turn on, and there wasn't even a bottle of mineral water in the room. I checked into the second room about 1 hour later and asked to cancel the room but they asked me to force them not to cancel, so I accepted to spend money and didn't want to stay in such a bad hotel. Even if I gave 1*, I would regret it. I also took the money. It's so unsightly to do business with customers.

Dirty, noisy and worst As punishment for security, employees lie on the sofa and sleep. Don't expect service The women in the bed are dirty as if they can't sleep, even the blood marks remain

Just sleep and rest. If there are environmental requirements, don't book this hotel. There are ants on the bed, there are ants in the bathroom, and the sheets are not clean. People who are obsessed with cleanliness should not book this hotel.

It seems that the old hotel has changed its name and reopened. Facilities are old and expensive. The shower had plenty of hot water. A few spider webs in the room. I didn't like the bugs and ants. Food cannot be left in the room. No cleaning during stay. No trash. There was no towel exchange, so I went to get it myself. If you're looking for cheap accommodation, it's good.
