Nice twin beds room, the onsen isn't too big but it also has a sauna, which is a nice touch. Lots of food and shops around the hotel. A good 30 mins walk from the castle though.

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it was spacious, location is perfect. It was worth every penny; however, the laundry room could use better upkeep as lint was flying everywhere.

This hotel is lovely and we slept well. The desk service was friendly and helpful and the location is good for the train station, shopping, and the cultural visits like the Himeji Castle. The hotel also has a surprise- a chapel on the 14th floor and a stained glass window and pretty lights decorating the hallway at the entrance. Furthermore, the hotel has a little cafe and is in the same building as some convenient shopping.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Monterey Himeji and I am happy with all aspects of this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located to the east exit of Himeji Station, yet quiet. The rooms are spacious and the buffet breakfast is excellent with local food served. Will come back

Very convenient location right outside train station and walkable to Himeji Castle. My room faces the railway track where I can watch the bullet train comes and goes. Very helpful staff who filled out the Yamato luggage delivery form for us, even called my next hotel to confirm the details.

Very close to the JR rail station. Very clean and pleasant hotel to stay in. Even have hot pool on its own.

We manage to get high floor and pretty nice room. Quite unexpected. Great bed to sleep. And clean room. There are sauna and Onsen facilities too. We enjoyed with Hotel Monterey Himeji.

It has bathtub and bathhouse, and the breakfast has various dishes. Just right at the station, and Himeji castle, so you can enjoy the breakfast and the view of Hemeji castle!

Best hotel we have stayed throughout our 6 days trip in Osaka! Staffs are professional and helpful who helped us to solve lots of problems. The Japanese room was awesome with LOTS of space and my son loved to sleep on the tatami ! Super clean and the bath tube was also amazing ! Will come back if visit himeji again.

Aside from that area is a bit noisy at night (midnight trains/JR) running. Other than that it’s a very convenient area with all the shopping malls and food are around. Will choose this hotel again.
