As a fan of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I chose Shaojian Yunshui Gangbei Homestay, located just 7 kilometers from Hefei XinQiao Airport, for my business trip. Although I couldn't visit the Three Kingdoms New City Ruins, this charming homestay provided me with a rich experience of traditional Chinese culture and the essence of the Three Kingdoms. Firstly, the architectural style of the homestay showcases a strong Chinese aesthetic, with elegant design and unique decorations that fill the space with charm. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly, patiently explaining the nearby amenities and even escorting me to my room, making me feel welcomed and comfortable. While the location is a bit remote, I found it easy to request a ride using the Didi app, which made transportation very convenient. The environment of the rooms is quite peaceful, allowing me to rest well amidst my busy work schedule. In the mornings, I was gently awakened by the chirping of birds, making it feel like a serene retreat in nature—a wonderful way to recharge for the day ahead. For breakfast, I particularly enjoyed the Chinese-style wooden tray, filled with delicate pastries and snacks that were visually appealing and creatively presented. The unique tableware added to the dining experience, allowing me to feel the warmth of home even while traveling for work. Surrounded by lush greenery, the homestay offers not only tranquility but also recreational facilities like pool tables, BBQ areas, and swings, providing great opportunities for interaction with friends. Enjoying a BBQ or relaxing on the swing during leisure time was truly delightful. Overall, Shaojian Yunshui Gangbei Homestay is an ideal choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s perfect for business trips and for fans like me of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms who wish to relax and recharge. I look forward to returning to truly enjoy the charm of Hefei and the warmth of this lovely homestay.
