NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

From the moment you get to Male, you are looked after by a representative of the resort who ensures everything is done to make your travel to NH Collection Maldives Resort is enjoyable. Male airport is far better than it used to be, the amenities are good and the view surrounding it are incredible too. It is a must to have your Maldives inwards IMUGA travel declaration done to ensure a speedy exit to start your holiday. Due to our flight arriving late we were looked after splendidly being placed in a private room in the airport lounge until we were due to leave. It is a decent flight and fast boat trip to NH Resort, but it goes quick enough. On arrival at the resort our personal host, Munjid greeted us and following a refreshing towel and drink, he gave us a tour of the amenities and took us to our room. We found all personnel were friendly and helpful. The service throughout the resort is first class. No matter what our question or request our host Munjid and others would ensure we were looked after. As we were celebrating our anniversary when we were there, Munjid arranged a special floral arrangement in our villa and complimentary goods to go with it. Special treatment was also given to us at each sitting in the restaurants on that day. Our overwater villa was phenomenal. Luxurious appointments throughout and the Maldives view that you never want to leave. The indoor/outdoor bathroom looking over the water, was appointed beautifully. From relaxing on the lounge on the villa deck, lying in the overwater hammocks or just venturing down the ladder into the crystal-clear water surrounding the resort, it was just incredible. If there is ever a hotel room you may want to just sit in, this is it. The servicing of the room was done at least twice every day. The replenishing of the fresh water and mini bar contents was also done regularly with water and sparkling water available. The island boasts its own desalination plant so unlike other resorts water is plentiful and free. Once you head down the ladder into the water you can snorkel around the island that measures about 650 metres long and 250 metres wide. The surrounding reef has an abundance of marine life including dolphins, turtles, sharks and fish. Many of the marine life swim regularly under your villa. Of course, your snorkel, mask and fins are provided by the sea sports company free of charge. If you want to do more all you need to do is ask for diving, kayaking, sailing, boating etc. There are a number of different food and drinks packages available. We chose the All-inclusive, which meant everything was available to us for no extra cost, all day and night. Dining is predominantly done at Reef Restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The offerings are never the same, and the chefs and wait staff cannot do enough to ensure your needs and wants and met. Let’s start with the negatives, none! We have just returned from NH Collection and extremely blown away by this island. You are made to feel like royalty, they go above and beyond to meet your needs, this wasn’t a holiday but an experience you don’t want to miss. The villas are spacious, everything you need, located at the edge of the ocean and private, you fall asleep and wake just listening to the waves. The restaurants cater for all needs and nationalities, the food was presented beautifully, plentiful and lots of choice. The bar/pool area is relaxing, with an infinity pool looking out to the ocean. The loungers were comfortable, you must try the pizza, they are delicious and a nice change from the restaurant. The island is well preserved and kept clean and tidy, there is a boutique shop for a few gifts to bring home. We went on the dolphin excursion and saw a pod of spinner dolphins which was amazing. Lots of fish, sharks, rays and the fruit bats. The team on the island were all amazing, so welcoming and were attentive to your needs, special shout out to Dewi, Lateef, Shireef for everything and not forgetting Nayem who came to our villa daily to make sure our villa was well kept and for the beautiful presentation of our room to celebrate a birthday and anniversary, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you all. Murooj, thank you for everything too and your efficient communication before and during our holiday. We have truly had the best time, on a beautiful paradise island with the most amazing people. NH Collection certainly delivered on making us feel the extraordinary. From our welcome to the island by drumbeats and necklaces, to our spectacular over the water villa, high quality buffet, cocktails, beers, wine and spirits to snorkeling with the turtles. This stay was simply magic. Our bed was the comfiest and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accomodating. Highly recommend this beautiful resort.

We have just come back here and it was beautiful. Everything was perfect from start to the end. The resort is like paradise, all the staff are so helpful and friendly. The lady at the restaurant called Dewi was amaxing and so friendly with our kids and our host Anastassiya was very helpful. Also our kids made 2 friends who were our buggy drivers Kalmey and Sheppy. Everything was just perfect and we had the best time. We can't fault this place and i would recommend it to everyone.

There is nothing to complain about!! Absolutely perfect hotel, perfect size of the island, the most beautiful house reef I‘ve ever seen, a lot of rays visited our Watervilla and all the cute little reef sharks came in the morning. We’ve seen dolphins swimming around the island, there were turtles everytime we went snorkeling! The ocean is extraordinary, the water is clear and the weather was a bliss. We will visit the island again when we got kids!!! The stuff is very friendly and they will do anything to let you feel good! If you‘re thinking about booking that hotel - DO IT! Jenna was so cute and Shawf is by far the best waiter!! Btw food by Larisa was freakin stunning!!!!

I have never written a review for a hotel before and the Havodda resort compelled me to do so! Just WOW my husband and I have just returned from a week’s holiday and our first trip to the Maldives. The resort was beautiful and complemented by wonderful staff all of whom could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. A particular thanks to Munjid who greeted us on arrival and looked after us so well. The food was nothing short of spectacular with Pradeep ensuring everything was to the highest standard and greeting us so warmly. Aman who looked after us by the stunning pool. Every member of the team were warm, welcoming and could not do enough for us to make our stay the most amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a week. Overall everything is good. We had all inclusive and enjoyed the food in the buffet. It was very tasty. The surf restaurant BBQ was very good. All staff are very kind and helpful. Thank you for Michael and other waiters. From the bar Thiki is very nice making cocktails. And thank you to our host Mara. She was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended as a host. The main thing is house reef of course. It is worthy to come to this far.

The hotel organized everything starting from the lounge for the domestic flight, speed boat and warm welcome when we reached the island. We stayed in Overwater villa, its very clean and big room with incredible view on crystal lagoon all the time. All staff is friendly especially TWE shes is very friendly and always smiling i would like to give her a big thanks for her efforts. The breakfast and dinner has a-lot of varieties and super yummy. Regarding the room, the bed is big and super comfortable and u can enjoy the view of the lagoon while you’re laying on bed. - Things need to be improved the wood bridge way to overwater villa is really need to be fixed alot of people even me always may fall down because majority is not really in good condition, also the stairs in villa is super slippery even after fixing it. Also more activities need to be improved especially after the dinner is super quiet and nothing to do you may feel better to go to your villa and chill there but in long stay u may feel bored as nothing to do after 6 pm. Overall is very awesome place to visit again.
