The Best stay one could ask for felt like a home away from home the host Yolandi and her husband went above and beyond to make the stay amazing the cleanliness of the facility was flawless, the pool nice spot to chill at, and the hot tub done the magic it had to works like a dream the views from the room to the outside area amazing overlooking the dam sunrise to sunset it was awesome we will be back soon.

The owners of the place are very hostile hosts, they are like hawks hovering over ones head especially during eating time. They are not open to suggestions or whatsoever . One doesn't feel comfortable or enjoy any sort of privacy There is nothing to write home about our stay at this place other than they must accept and close shop. The owners have no respect for their patrons including their employees, one is treated like a child

We arrived on Friday afternoon. On Saturday we went away and when we came back we wanted to shower, the water was called. The staff mentined to us it was load shedding but i can recongnise that we are using Gas heater but it was off. Later in the day we went out and when we came back at night the lodge had no electricity, nobody told us anything. We waited for a staff member because the contact number we had was offline. Finally we spoke to the manager and she told us she is struggling to buy electricity because she is on prepaid. My question was simple, you should have let us know and provide some alternative. We could not find one another and she told me that i can leave, i did exactly that, Om Monday, when i check for my refund, she told me that she would not give it because my partner gave a bad review. It was unfortunate that we ended up there without checking reviews because if we checked them we could not have booked there. I was not the first one to leave amother the same circumstances

Fantastic weekend away, Thank you Galagos Lodge management and staff you really treated me and my significant other with a memorable stay. Fabulous breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff for the duration of our stay. My friends and I will definetly come for a "Boys" weekend away soon. Keep it up, we'll see you soon

4 star rating is a joke. Boring breakfast, didn't eat on our last day even. Run down rooms, doesn't look like they get cleaned often. Curtains dirty and all kinds of insects in the room. I did not enjoy our stay, not relaxing at all. Place needs a major revamp, the pictures are misleading. Definitely not value for your money

You however requested to stay in a suite upon arrival, we informed you that this was possible for 1 night only as it was reserved the following day. You refused to leave the room on the 2nd day, we were unable to have the room ready for the new arrival. Only after 13H00 you allowed the staff access to the room to move your luggage to the room you have originally reserved. You did not fail to mention that you would voice your opinion to ensure a negative impact on my business unless we allow you to stay in the suite. Regardless of the fact that this was agreed on when you checked in. After you moved you started to treat our staff with the utmost disrespect, you were negative and rude regardless of our attempts to make you comfortable, nothing was acceptable to you. Well sir, you have surely made your point and wrote the negative review as promised regardless of the false information you provided, just because you could not get your way! I hope this offered you the satisfaction you were looking for. I however, wish you all the best for future travels.

We have visited this establishment several times since initially enjoying our honeymoon there a few years ago. The service was always good until our most recent visit. We booked for a Sunday evening due to our limited availability, the hotel was very quiet and only saw one other visitor. After enjoying dinner at the Hotel, we went out to a local business, upon our return, we found that the entrance door had been locked from the inside and we could not enter. Hooting, shouting, calling, tried contacting all the numbers listed did not help and we could not find anybody to open for us whilst the rain was pouring down. After eventually entering the next morning, we slept in and forgot about the 10am check out. After our host, reminded us of this at 11am, we promptly packed and left. Upon calling the owner Yolande to inform her of the unfortunate situation, she was incredibly rude and kept telling us that we could have had the decency to ask for a late check out and how would they clean in time for new guests, not that there were any guests on the Monday morning. She told my wife "to calm down" as she couldn't hear her clearly. Not even an apology about being locked out. i was asked why didn't phone her as if we didn't think of that - her phone was off and the land line unanswered. Such rudeness was really unneccessary and uncalled for. Pathetic service Yolande.....

Tanggapan dari Properti: Your review is misleading with false and inaccurate information. To visit a pub and return to the guest house at 03H00 in the morning is surely your right. If you however misplace the set of keys which have gate key, room key and front door key and do not call for assistance there is unfortunately not much we can do. Just assuming you can occupy a room until 15H00 on the day of departure due to the fact that you were not feeling well after your night out completely unacceptable. You ignored all our calls, refused to open the door and only called us to inform us of this "so called bad experience" at 15H00 when you finally decided to depart and looked for an excuse not to pay the invoice for the late departure. We will notify other establishments of your conduct for future bookings.

We celebrated our anniversary for the third time at Galagos Lodge this July, very impressed by all the upgrades!! Thank you once again, staff and management for the superb service and hospitality. The fireplace was definitely a bonus in this chilly weather and the food as always great. Thank you for maintaining the standard we've grown accustomed to. See you guys soon!

The staff very friendly and helpful however the rooms was cold and air-conditioning wasn't working properly therefore had to move to another room which was just as cold .Appreciate that the owner upgraded us however the room was still cold.

Great location and lovely place to stay. One thing that was not great was the fact that it was impacted by the loadshedding. I would think that in these times places will have generators in place so that clients are not affected. Especially meal times. All the best and will visit again.
